You held the plastic bags in your hands. They were full of all the groceries that you hoped should at least would last the week. You were just at a small store getting food and now you're on the bustling sidewalks of Ebbot city. You hated walking in the city alone, who knows what could happen.

You kept your head down and made your way through the crowd blending in. The weight of bags were enough to start hurting your fingers so you tried your best to keep a good grip on them while trying to hurry home.

Thud

You pasted an alleyway and heard a thud. You slowed your tracks and people started making their way around you giving you a stink eye.

Jeez, what nice people we have here.

You looked down the dark alleyway. You bit your cheek debating if you were gonna go in to see what caused the thud. Or if you were gonna ignore the noise like a normal person.

Yeah I ain't no normal person, hopefully I don't die in this ghetto alley.

The pursed your lips and walked in. You looked around for any signs that said to leave or any dangerous things. You didn't see any so you kept walking down a little further. You passed a giant dumpster that stunk like a turd. So you attempted to hold your breath as you passed it.

I probably shouldn't go in any further. You though silently and turned to retreat out of the alley. Well you were gonna get out of there until you heard a whimper.

You whipped back around and scanned the area again. Behind some old crates a white tattered boot stuck out.

Aw crap- I can't just leave my groceries, or this person. . . They'll have to wait a quick moment.

-

You ran back to the alleyway out of breath. You hoped that person was alright. You had dropped your groceries in you house and sprinted back to the alley. It's only been just a few minutes so you didn't think too much would have happened.

You held your breath as you passed the turd dumpster and quickly made it to the wooden crate. The person who was there wasn't whimpering anymore, in fact they were really quiet. The boot was still there so that meant that the person was still there too. Which is probably good?

You peeped around the crate to get a good view of the person, and to see if they were okay.

.

.

.

That's definitely not a human-

What the heck- that's a freakin skeleton. ONE THATS BLEEDING TOO- gOsh- whAt tHe hEcK am I sUpOSeD to Do-

The skeleton that somehow had his eye sockets closed was very much dead and alive at the same time. What in the world of voodoo magic is this. You knew there was monsters and magic, but nOt SkelEtOns-

You tapped your chin not knowing what to do.

"Hello? Sir?" You tried to wake the sleeping skeleton. You inched forwards and poked his shoulder. "Helloooooo-" The skeleton was still un-responsive. Turns out he's out cold .

"Ughh what the heck am I supposed to do- I can't just leave him in here that would be rude! And what if the drunks come and hurt him worse." You sighed then crouched down to the passed out skeleton.

Here goes nothing.

You gingerly wrapped your arms around the skeleton and heaved him up. The weight of the skeleton was definitely not what you were expecting.
