Shahnaz wakes up and looks around the room. Her  body is so weak that she has no wish to get out of bed. But her eyes were searching for special one. Anger and sadness on the one side  the joy of finding the person you love when you are sick on the other. She knew that yesterday's behavior would take her further away from Siddharth, but somewhere in her mind she hoped that Siddharth would keep his hold on her. Shahnaz's mind became sorrowful as she could not see Siddharth. That was evident in her eyes.
