Who said that? No one cared. All we cared about is what Greg said which no one ever knew he was going to say. For a long moment, we were all staring at him with eyes wide and jaw dropped. What the F! He just said that the name of his 'controversial' childhood crush was Ashley Dale, who would have thought he's gonna say that?
Wow. I finally recovered and closed my mouth as I watch the reactions of the rest. Shocked, very much, they are. We are. Just imagine, who would think that he's gonna answer my just-for-fun question. It must take a lot of guts. Tequila really make you do a lot of things and say a lot more of it. See? Greg just told us who his childhood crush was which he had kept as a secret for so long. He just said to us that his puppy love was Ashley Dale. He said infront of Ashley that he was inlove with her. He just confessed to Ashley that he was inlove with her.
He still is.
Greg was still holding his boyish grin while watching the hilarious faces of everyone. Well, I'm glad I've finally moved on coz I don't want to look stupid because I can't get over with Greg's unbelievable revelation. I'll label it "revelation of the year" and I'll never forget the funny reactions this event gathered.
"Well, I think I'm done answering the question so..." Greg finally broke the deafening silence and grabbed the bottle. I watched how everyone snapped theirselves from Greg's mindblower. Everyone's back to their comfortable position now and are trying to make a conversation. Well, except for Ashley and Greg." ...let me spin the bottle," he said as he spun the bottle. It pointed to Tracy.
That was a good distractor. The boys made fun of her to bring back fun in the atmosphere but I didn't care about Tracy so my attention all went to Dustin who wasn't cared about their little merrymaking too. He's looking away, or in the water, wearing a strange face which I've never seen in him before. I never thought he'll have this face which shows a hundred emotions yet you cannot draw his reaction, vice versa.
He must be guilty because he was acting like Ashley was his possession, that way he robbed Greg all his chance to be with her.
He must be ashamed of his self. How could he call his self Greg's bestfriend when all the years they were together, he didn't know about Greg's true feelings? Of course he must know that, he should feel that. Oh yeah, I forgot, all he cared about is his self and his very own feelings and he never cared about other people. That's how self centered that jerk is.
He must be afraid because now that Ashley finally knows that Greg is inlove with her, soon she'll fall for him too for sure..
Coz I'll make a way to work it out.
Really, I'll do everything to make Ashley realize this. Greg deserves her and she doesn't deserve this jerk named Dustin who for sure will just hurt her feelings.
Bye-bye, Mr.Popular Dustin and your popularity games. Ha-ha.
That's when he looked at me and I realized that I was smiling.
"Dustin!" they cheered. We both turned our heads to them. So the bottle points to him. His jaw moved then his lips formed a smirk... not the familiar proud arrogant smirk but a bitter one.
"I'll take the shots." He said and filled the shot glass himself. I could feel he's down but because I hate him and I am a bad girl, his misery makes me happy.
Oh, sorry Lord!
He spun the bottle and it pointed to Keith. "Go ask him, I'm giving up my rights," Dustin said, still with his smirk. I don't know but I feel like he meant another thing with what he said.
