"We're here!"

I jumped off the motorcycle when Jack put that on its stand. Only when my feet touched the cold land when I realized that I left my shoes on the pathway of the venue and left without my shoes on. Now, it's awkward specially that a few people getting into the airport are either glancing or freaking staring at my bare feet. I snorted. At least I wear a beautiful dress, not looking like a poor beggar roaming around for money or food coz I rather look like I was kidnapped.

Kidnapped by the handsome Jack Marcus Dale.

"You really don't want to go to Germany with me that you left with no shoes on? What a good excuse..."

I rolled my eyes at Jack. "It was really an accident. I can think of a better excuse than humiliate myself like this." I looked at the entrance and saw a bunch of security personnel checking on people and their stuffs there. "Should you just leave me here? I doubt if they would let me in, at this... looks, you know..."

"I still have a couple of minutes, come on, they must be waiting." I would be a hypocrite if I would say Jack carrying me on his back didn't register as a possibility on my mind. When he turned around and squatted infront of me, I didn't take more than a couple of seconds of a pause before riding on his back. The truth is, this isn't new to me, well, minus the dress and the makeup and the missing heels."You gained weight huh?" he grunted, acting like’twas hard coz I’m heavy. I groaned in objection and slapped his back hard.

"Why don't you just put me down coz you're saying…???" I snapped at him. He made a hearty laugh and it was hard for me not to laugh with him. That was an act that I used to grow with. Ask me about childhood fun and none of my happy memories was without Jack.

But tonight felt like just like those happy nights when we were kids...

"Excuse me sir, but I am afraid that the girl on your back should wear an appropriate outfit, I mean at least have something on her feet," Jack argued with the security. "At least have anything on your feet Ma'am before I let you in."

"You know what, this is bullshit! There is no saying, 'no shoes, no entry' here. Besides,” I hid my grin when Jack's face turned sober. "My girlfriend here... has polio. She can't walk," he even sniffed, as if he was crying. I sniffed too, trying to go with Jack's drama to convince the person but he was tough. "And we.... we just ran away from her... her abusive aunt..." well that was personal, I want to say he was bias, "and her mean cousin and we, we need to go to New York now coz my Uncle has a friend, his friend was a doctor, and he wants to help her--"

"Show me your passports."

"But unfortunately, my Aunt had my bag, she's on the waiting area inside, waiting for us to---"

"Passports."

"Damn." Jack cursed. I spotted a group of men from inside who looked like bodyguards in suits rushing towards our direction while talking over a phone or something on their ears. Maybe the security backups. I tried to get the attention of Jack who is now pissed off that he didn't notice the trouble coming. "I am not joking. I am Jack Marcus Albrecht and I need to board in that private jet from the German group and damn it, don't let me in, the state's economy would be in trouble!"
My eyes widened and tried to tell Jack about the guys approaching but he was too busy with the argument.

"Really? A while ago you're just telling me the sad life of your girl and now you're threatening me with a certain name that you might have searched from the net and--"

"Mr. Marcus Albrecht is here, get ready in five minutes..." suddenly, the five big guys were on the entrance, reaching on Jack like they've been waiting for him. The security personnel still can't believe what was infront of him, and that was exactly how I felt as those strangers ushered us inside in a hurry. "Sir, this way, we have to hurry, it's only you they're waiting---"
