Lyz

The series of loud knocking on my door awakened me. What the.... I covered my ears with my pillow, trying to go back to sleep. Then I heard my door locks opening.

"Lyz, wake up, it's already past 9," Ashley sat on the edge of my bed. I turned to her and tried to open my eyes and pull off from sleep. "They're already preparing to go, let me pack your things," she said while walking towards my closet and began stuffing my things into a big brown traveling bag I didn't know where she got from. I took my time getting my senses back to me with my eyes closed while she kept packing for me. "You better shower first."

"Okay." I went to the bathroom and stayed there for long, almost falling back to sleep. Really, I slept too late, maybe it's already 4am and my head hurts.

"Hey, what's taking you so long?" I was startled by Ashley gently knocking. I heard her phone ringing and when I came out, she was talking to someone on her phone. "Oh, sorry Lyz, I have to go somewhere else and it's already late I can't wait for you. I'll just have Marietta bring you there. I have to go." She said while crashing out of my room. I just stared at my things she had packed. My phone suddenly rang and I lazily picked it up.

"Hey...."

"Lyz!!! Where are you? I'm on my way to Sean's. Ashley's phone is busy..." Pamy's voice is very excited. "What are you wearing?"

"I just woke up. Ashley's gone, she had packed my things. Marietta will drive for me." I said lazily while yawning. "I'll just take a shower."

"Okay. I'll be there in five." Pamy said more excitedly before hanging up. Surely, Ashley's gone coz I heard her car a while ago. I took a hot shower and wore my usual tank top, hoodie and skinny jeans. I don't think I'll have to wear snickers so I slipped on my favorite havaiianas. I have my socks packed without my shoes but what the hell. I don't need my shoes.

"Let's go!!!" I almost jumped off my bed when Pamy's whining voice appeared out of nowhere. I shrieked at her, saying how rude she is for not even knocking, but I guess she's too excited to care. "Hurry up! The boys are waiting!"

I told Marietta to simply lie to Ashley and tell her that she drove for me to the village park. I don't want her to think that I exposed her secret, or ours, especially that Pamy has been a friend to her who's supposed to know we're related. Gee, that vain blonde cousin of mine give me headaches most of the time.

All through our way to Sean's, I just let Pamy have her moment. Maybe she's that excited that she didn't even noticed that I don't even utter a single word and have my eyes half closed. Nah... If only I have a way to refuse to her. But yeah, she's already so dear to me and I let her take that as an advantage.

"Whoah!!! Birthday girl!!! You took your time!" I heard the boys' loud voices from outside the car when Pamy opened the door on her side. So we're here in Sean's place. It is the nearest spot to wherever we're going and I heard not everyone can bring their car there. I think I wont jump into any car unless Greg's the one driving.

"Hey, Lyz!" I was startled when someone pulled the door beside me open. It's Keith. He looked so handsome in his gray sweatshirt, torn pants and bonnet. "I thought you're with Ashley?" he said while getting our things from the backseat. I jumped out and the boys cheered out when they saw me.

"Whoah! The nerd is here, we can leave now!" Sean most likely squealed while laughing and he earned a hard slap on his right arm from me. He screamed in pain and touched his hurting arm. "You slap like a gorilla, do you know that!" he complained instead of helping the other guys get our stuffs from Pamy's car. I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Where's Ashley? I thought she's with you?" I looked at the guy who's speaking. Dustin. I don't know if I'm just sleepy and still not on my proper mind but seeing him dashing and very sexy in his chest hugging shirt, dark shorts, hicut converse and cap made me stare at him like he's all I can see now.
