I'm getting crazy. Soon.

Today is supposed to be an ordinary Tuesday, but weird happenings made it not.

First, this morning. I thought I was early to come to school at 7:45 but there, one of those people who irritate my eyes, infront of the gate. It was Keith. I totally ignored him even if I was surprised when he called my name and tried to walk behind me as if I was who he was waiting for in the gate. He followed me until we reached the lockers.

"Whoah! I can't believe it. Your locker is here? It's our place!" That time I paid him a glance with my eyebrows raised. "I've never seen you here! I mean where were you hiding all those times?"

I just gave him a fake smile which I made obvious for him and turned my back at him and left without any gesture of goodbye.

Next was Sean. I saw him on the hallway and I'm still far but he was already giving me a very warm smile, the first one I received from him. "Hi Betty!" he covered his mouth when I stopped infront of him. "Oops... Sorry... I mean hello Elyzabeth!" he tried his best to smile as he corrected, blushing a bit on his mistake. I found his reaction funny but cute.

"What's with you Sean?" I asked him prankly. "A minute ago your bestfriend was bothering me infront of my lockers, and now you..." I looked at him suspiciously. "Are you having a prank on me this early or something?" I consciously checked my back if there's some paper stuck there saying 'I am Ugly Betty. I'm freaking silly! Kick my ass!' but luckily, there's none. And when I returned my attention to him, he was scanning me from head to foot.

"Wow, you've got new clothes huh? You now look prettier with those," He checked out my clothes. I was wearing a brown shirt and jeans. "Nice shirt." I didn't know but I feel like he was looking at my chest when he said that. I felt so much irritation. Pervert!

I put my hands on my waist and glared at him. "Didn't anyone tell you that staring is rude?" I snapped and when I saw some other students coming our way, I left him as swiftly as I could without a word. I went to my classroom and checked my notebook if I have missed doing  any assignment or something. I was scanning through my notes when a deep male voice drew my attention away from it.

"Hi."

I looked up at him as he sits beside me. I was sitting in my favorite place, the last chair at the back near the left corner. He was wearing a genuine and friendly smile. Usually, when someone greets me, I don't even look back or return the smile. But this guy is the only person who seemed friendly enough to me since day 1 and I don't think it would cause me any harm if I talk to him or greet back. "Hi." Then I returned my attention towards my notebook but in the corner of my eyes, I can see him scanning my looks.

"Your outfit looks good on you," he complemented. He really seemed nice and I can't be so rude with people who are this kind. I glanced at him then tried to be polite.

"If that's a complement, thanks then."

After that was a long silence. I almost forgot that I wasn't alone in the room when he broke the silence again.

"By the way, I'm Greg Harry Dawson...or Greg." He said awkwardly and when I saw the blush in his face, I wasn't able to control my grin. "Why?" He frowned and tried to act cool. For sure he was having a hard time talking to someone so cold like me. Obviously, he was used with other people greeting him first. I'm not oblivious of the fact that girls approach and greet him first and trying to talk to some human as indifferent and rude as I am was such a burden.

"You're blushing..." I can't help but smile at him. He looked so ashamed because he wasn't able to hide his real reaction. That made my grin even wider. "That was cute, so.don't worry." I gave him time to recover by returning to my notes and flipped the pages.
