Kathryn happily sighed as she traversed the dirt path to the station - she had just finished a job and managed to make it to level 10.
As her rank grew so did the job availability. Although after the whole train fiasco where she ended up in the newspapers as an idiotic noob she decided to stick to the lower jobs until she at least got to rank two... Which as it turned out was a good idea... For some reason, people liked to make jobs sound easier than they actually were. Which could be extremely dangerous - imagine having a job would-be classified as level 7 at least but downgrading to such an extent that it goes all the way to 5... Which caused Erisa even more annoyances as it had become a common occurrence and Kathryn was not the only one.
And in the end, if the zodiac master is not capable because they've been lied to about the situation then they've not only wasted their time but the zodiac masters time too... And it could possibly cost a life or two. Yet people continuously did so to her.
Luckily this time the client had been honest, which came as a pleasant surprise to the Aries girl who had gotten accustomed to the common lies and cheaters she usually had to serve on the missions. Apparently, a Virgo horse lad stole his horse... And seeing as it was a final gift from his wife before she passed he REALLY wanted that horse back with him and his grandson.
Seeing as the boy was of the element of nature Kathryn managed to burn him down and take the Horse back to its rightful owners.
The little boy's joyful joyful shouts were enough to make the whole day worthwhile to the Aries girl... And for some reason when she saw the old man run up to the horse with tears in his eyes that's when it happened... Not during the fight or soon after but for some reason seeing the grandfather and grandson happily reunite with the memory of their loved one made her level up...
It was a good day. And for the first time in a long time, it would remain that way.

She rode the train back to the order with a bright cheery smile upon her face. The sun had set hours ago and she managed to get on the last train back to the order. She would have to board another train to get there... That or book a place to stay for the night. It was late but she wanted to get back as soon as possible... So late-night train here she comes!
****
She left the station after learning that the next train wouldn't arrive for at least three hours. That meant that she had three hours to look around the town surrounding the area... The market was full and buzzing with people to the wee hours of the early morning. She had gotten dinner at a diner spent at least two hours wandering the streets and checking the items.
That's when the streets grew quieter. People whom apparently grew tired of their long night decided to retire to their homes or wherever they were staying, and not long after the shops closed as well. That left Kathryn alone to make her way back to the train she had thirty minutes before its arrival and didn't want to take a risk of it leaving her behind.
That's when it happened man around 44 years of age with vile drunk green eyes and blonde hair grinned wickedly towards the Brunette in the distance:
The next thing Kathryn knew she was faced with a Leviathan.
*It just HAD to be a water sign!* Kathryn sighed as she dodged the attacks. *Is he a robber... Or something? Maybe we could talk this out... There are houses here after all...*
"Hey! Why are you attacking me?!" The girl cried out as she dodged another attack.
"You got my son arrested!"
"Heh?!" Kathryn confusedly gazed at the man in front of her... Then she saw the resemblance. "Ah, that guy... He shouldn't steal horses from others then!"
"The weak deserve it! The strong take!"
*I need to get his guy outta here! He's obviously not going to listen at the moment!*
"Ah by that definition since your son lost to me then he is weak and thus deserved it as well!"
The guy snapped. Like a twig.
*Great now time to call Tamie!*
And so Tamie was called in front of the leviathan.
"Kath, what the hell happened?!"
******
Tamie managed to beat him and ask Kathryn if she was okay, to which the younger of the two apologised for the unexpected summons.
"It's fine main is that your alive."
"Uhh what should we do with him?" Kathryn inquired as she pointed towards the defeated Pisces.
"Well-"
A tussle in the bushes caught the girls attention: A tall blonde lady whose dark eyes seemed to hold some kind of secret or wonder. As if holding some secret power within. She adorned herself with a black dress.
"Is that all?"
"Yeah... That's all sorry for-"
"Kath stay behind me." Tamie was immediately on guard she had felt this power before and she didn't like the memories that came with it. Kath on the other hand was clueless.
"I'm not here for the Aries-girl, or you my lady, All I am asking is towards your pupil... Is that all...?"
"Yes... I think it is. I'm not a Libra to judge these kind of things I'll leave that up to my Magister or the town officials to decide!"
"Oh... Okay then... See you later, my fellow child of Mars." And with that, she left.
And with that, she was gone.
"Tamie?" Kathryn inquired.
"We need to go."
