Distance

It's been almost 2 months since Nanon moved back to his condo. He met Ohm every day on the sets of Bad Buddy series. They discussed their scenes as usual and performed the scenes without any hitches. For anyone looking from outside, everything seem to be going well.

These 2 months showed how good an actor they both were. They smiled before everyone while they cried inside. Nanon hardly ate or slept properly. He spend all his time concentrating on his work. As days went by he was becoming more and more pale. Ohm observed the changes in Nanon but he didn't say anything. PAof who noticed the changes in Nanon asked him about it. But Nanon blamed it on workload and exam tensions.

Finally it was the last day of their shoot.  There were three scenes to be shot that day and all of them were to be shot on the rooftop. The first scene was a light and fun filled scene which did not take much takes. Next they went on to shoot a bit emotional scene where Pat and Pran's relationship came out before their parents and they were stressed out because of that. Nanon was really tired after crying for so long in that scene. He asked PAof for a break as he felt tired. PAof said it was okay to take a break as the shooting had to be stopped due to heavy rain.

In the dressing room:

Nanon lay down on the bed trying to get some sleep. But every time he closed his eyes, Ohm's smiling face came before his eyes.

Nanon: Why can't I just forget him? He is no longer interested in me. He has moved on. He was talking to someone and smiling so much the other day. I am sure he has found someone else in his life. I need to move on. Today is the last day of the shoot. I need to give my best shot. I need to move on.

Soon the rain stops and shoot resumes. Nanon felt really cold eventhough he was wearing a full sleeve tshirt. Ohm was once again showing off his body in sleeveless tshirt.

Nanon and Ohm were asked to take their position. Nanon felt overwhelmed by the fact that this may be the last shot with Ohm. He skeptical about Ohm working with him again. He just wanted to cherish the last moments with him. He just hugged him without giving his brain a chance to reason.

Ohm was surprised by Nanon's action but hugged him back. Nanon slowly removed himself from Ohm's arms and walked away to take his position. Ohm noticed the sadness in his eyes. Soon PAof shouted action and the shoot began.

As Ohm and Nanon delivered their dialogues as Pat and Pran, a feeling of uneasiness crept into Ohm and Nanon's heart. When Pran asked Pat if he wanted them to be friends,  Ohm felt like Nanon was asking him the question. It felt so personal and powerful. Nanon felt the same.

Nanon's POV:

They were no longer Pat and Pran in the scene. It was Ohm and Nanon who no longer wants to be friends. When they kissed each other, it felt like a goodbye kiss. Nanon kissed him with all his hidden love while Ohm kissed him back with all the love he always felt for Nanon. When the kiss came to an end, tears were running down Nanon's eyes. He ran away from there as soon as the director said cut.

Ohm's POV:

Ohm saw Nanon running away from there crying. He wanted to console him but he knew if he went near him, he would break the last thread of sanity he has been holding on to. It's been a torture for him to stay away from Nanon but he endured it for Nanon's happiness. Their series together has come to an end. They are no longer required to be together. May be this distance will  heal his heart and he will be able to talk to Nanon without feeling hurt.

In the dressing room:

Nanon was packing his bags and getting ready to leave when someone from the staff came to call him for the wrap up party. He washed his face and put on his brightest smile and went out to meet everyone. He along with Ohm announced Bad Buddy series wrap up and said thank you to all the staff and crew. Photos were taken and drinks were served.

Nanon stayed away from drinks as he was feeling a bit dizzy. He said goodbye to everyone and left early as he was not feeling well. He was about to enter his car when he felt a hand stopping him from opening the door.

"Non"

Ohm's POV:

Ohm has been observing Nanon since the wrap up party started. Nanon was looking unusually pale and his steps were wobbly. He then saw Nanon saying goodbye to everyone and leaving the party. Ohm decided to follow him as there was something bothering him. As he reached the parking lot, he saw Nanon trying to open the door of his car but his hands were shaking and legs were unsteady. Ohm quickly went and held his hand before he could enter his car.

Ohm: Non

Nanon turn his head to look at the person who stopped him and was surprised to see Ohm standing there.

Ohm: Non

Nanon: Hmm

Ohm: Are you okay?

Nanon: Yeah...I...

Suddenly his speech slurred and he started to fall down. Ohm caught him just before his body hit the ground.

Ohm: Non...Non...

Ohm quickly carried Nanon to his car and drove to his apartment. He didn't want to take him to any clinic because he didn't want this to leak out in the media. He parked his car in the parking lot and carried Nanon to his condo. He then called a doctor to check on Nanon. He also called Chimon as he felt Nanon might feel uncomfortable being alone with him.

Soon doctor and Chimon arrived at his condo. Doctor went in to check on Nanon while Chimon and Ohm waited outside. Doctor comes out and informs them that Nanon is just tired and malnourished. He needed complete rest and proper diet. Ohm agreed to take care of it. Once the doctor left,  Chimon and Ohm flopped down on the couch letting out a sigh of relief.

Chimon: What happened Ohm?

Ohm: I don't know. He just fainted in the parking lot.

Chimon: Hmm. Is everything alright between you two?

Ohm: Hmm.

Chimon: Then why are you avoiding him Ohm?

Ohm: Chim

Chimon: Others may not notice the change but I can clearly see it. In the past 2 months, whenever I called you both for dinner or lunch, you both avoided it. You said stupid excuses whenever you heard Nanon was coming and Nanon did the same when he heard you are coming. What has happened between you two that you cannot be in the same place together.

Ohm: It's complicated Chim. I cannot say anything without Nanon's consent.

Chimon: Yeah right. Nanon has always come first for you. Even before your own happiness. Right?

Ohm: Chim

Chimon: Then what has changed Ohm?

Ohm: Everything

Chimon: Huh

Ohm: We are longer the same people Chim.

Chimon: Apart from living together and having sex.

Ohm: Chim..How..How did you..

Chimon: I am your bestfriend guys. I could see the changes in you. You looked so happy. Nanon was glowing.

Ohm: But it meant nothing to him.

Chimon: How do you know?

Ohm: Because he said so.

Chimon: Ohm, how can you be so stupid? Nanon's character never allows him accept things easily. He always saying things he never meant when he is shy or embarrassed. He just doesn't know how to react to some situations.

Ohm: But Chim

Chimon: You still have a doubt. Right?

Ohm: Hmm

Chimon: Let's test it then.

Ohm: How?

Chimon comes up with a plan.

Ohm: Isn't it risky?

Chimon: Yes. But you need to take this risk if you want to know the truth.

Ohm: Okay.

Chimon and Ohm wait for Nanon to wake up.
