PARTY TIME

In true Stark fashion, Tony decided everyone needed a break from the constant waiting and tracking and threw a huge party. Everyone was just siting around drinking and talking, the drinks flowed freely, the music was fast and loud and every light in the place was blazing.

Thor looked over and noticed as Emmy walked in and pointed it out to everyone there "Look Lady Emmy is here!" Everyone turned to look as she walked in, she was smiling and greeting people, making her way towards the group. Emmy stopped by Bucky and was laughing at something he said. Her golden dress sparkling under the lights, making it seem like her skin was glowing as well. It skimmed down her every curve, flaring out in sparkling sheer tulle at the bottom, where her golden and sparkly  pumps shined.

"She looks amazing" Tony stated unable to take is eyes off Emmy.

"She sure does" Steve agreed "You should ask her to dance Tony"

"Thats the best idea you've had in a long time, Capsicle" Tony said taking a sip of his drink "I think that's exactly what I'm going to do" He turned to place his drink on the table but when he turned back he noticed that Emmy was on the dance floor with Bucky.

Tony continued to watch as the music changed to something soft and slow and felt an unexplainable urge to march over to where they were dancing and punch Bucky. He was still staring when Nat spoke up from behind him. "Keep staring like that and someone is going to think you want something more than a dance, Stark"

"I have no idea what you are talking about, Romanoff" Tony said sourly and stalked off towards a different group of people, where Pepper happened to be a part of.

"Man he is jealous" Wanda stated "I wonder how hes going to hide that!"

"By making the situation worse" Steve said shaking is head as he pointed in the direction Tony was headed

Tony walked right up to where Pepper was mingling and laughing with a group of people "Hello, Pepper" He smiled at her "You look lovely as always"

Pepper turned around and smiled at Tony, her golden hair perfectly curled, the silky blue dress hugging her every curve "Hi Tony, you look pretty good yourself" She looked him up and down, batting her lashes.

"Would you like to dance?" Tony asked holding out his hand for her "I believe they are playing our old song" Pepper place her hand in his and they walked off to the dance floor.

"It's been really nice getting to spend some time together, even under the circumstances" She smiled at him again as they'd swayed to the music, believing that he was listening to her.

But although Tony was nodding his head he was more focused on Emmy and Bucky dancing too close for his liking, he looked back at Pepper, her face was close and she was still smiling at him. He gave her a brief smile back and looked back up in Emmys direction, just in time to see her look right at him, her face unreadable as she turned and walked out of the party.
