Yeon-Hwa's POV
I was still trying to process everything that happened. Everything happened so fast. We were left alone for about 30 minutes now. People did as they pleased, Nam-ra being the class president didn't even bother to take charge or anything. Na-yeon is still ignoring me after Gwi-nam's announcement. I get it though.
The girls in class looked at me with both worry and pity. They looked like they wanted to talk to me, but they were too scared of what Gwi-nam might do. Bored, I rested my head on the table hoping to doze off for a bit.
"Baby.." Gwi-nam said softly. He then started caressing my head gently.
"Hmm?" I said, still with my eyes closed.
"Are you asleep?" He asked.
"No.. why?" I replied.
"I have something to give you." He said. "Come look."
I lifted my head from the table and turned to face him.
In his hand is a little black box with a red ribbon. I was surprised not because of the gift, but because I never thought I'd see this side of him.
"Isn't it too soon for this? I mean we just started dating." I gave him a confused look.
"Nonsense. My baby deserves to be treated like a princess. I mean you've been pampered your whole life by your parents. You don't deserve anything less."
I admit I was almost touched by this.
He opened the little gift box to reveal a golden necklace with a red gem shaped like a heart. It looked very minimalistic and cute, just how I like it.
"That's very beautiful. Thank you." I looked at him with awe. I could hardly believe he would be doing something nice, without ulterior motives. This is too good to be true. Just what does he have under his sleeve?
"Come. Let me put this on you." He said taking the necklace from the box.
I then turned my back on him and lifted my hair up, so he could put it on me.
