"Be sure to be back right away ha."
"Yes, Mom, I told you I will be here, so just relax." Bea assured her mom.
"Magingat ka."
And she immediately left.
A few more hours and the Ravenas have arrived at LGV. They were warmly welcomed by the de Leon couple. Thirdy was not far behind.
Bong introduced his family, Elmer introduced his wife.
"O eh asan ung dalaga mo?" Bong asked.
"She'll be here in awhile, may pinuntahan lang sandali. Tara na sa loob, mag merienda muna tayo."
Mozzy and Det started chatting, too, Thirdy wanders.
Matapos na sila mag merienda, Det gave Mozzy a tour of their house and showed off some of her plants nang biglang dumating si Bea.
"Oh my daughter just arrived, halika para makilala nyo sya."
Det followed her, Bea was shocked to see Thirdy's mom.
"Tita!" Napasigaw si Bea.
"You know each other?" Gulat na tanong ni Det.
"Yes! I just met her recently, actually. What a coincidence!" Sagot ni Mozzy.
"So diko na pala kailangan ipakilala."
Tumawa lang sila except for Bea who is unsure kung mag eenjoy ba sya sa araw na un.
"Pasok po muna ako sa loob, I'll just change." Sagot ni Bea.
Sumilip silip muna sya, nakita nya si Thirdy nakaupo sa sala, busy with his phone.
Her dad was nowhere to be found.
She tiptoed going straight to the stairs papuntang kwarto. She felt relieved na hindi sya napansin ni Thirdy.
"Anak!"
Okaaay nakaalpas ako sa isa pero nakita ako ng isa, nice one Beatriz, she told herself.
Kamot sa ulo sabay harap. And she saw her dad with Thirdy's dad.
"Eto ung dalaga mo?" Bong asked Elmer.
"Yes! Lika anak, this is Tito Bong, my very good friend. They just arrived from the US."
Bahagyang napangiti si Bea, lumapit sa kanila.
"Nice to see you again, iha." Bati ni Bong.
"Ah hehe oo nga po, Tito."
"Oh nagkakilala na kayo?" Elmer asked.
"Oo, pinakilala sya sa amin ni Thirdy, actually. Looks like hindi na tayo mahihirapan, pare."
Nagtawanan ang magkaibigan, nakatingin lang sa kanila si Bea, puzzled.
"Excuse me po, magbibihis lang ako."
"Go ahead, anak, si Thirdy nasa baba, dimo ba nakita?"
"No po, I'll leave you po muna."
Pagpasok ni Bea sa kwarto, dali dali nya tinawagan si Maddie, her bestfriend and told her.
M: Ano ba naman kasi ginagawa mo, Beatriz, ginamit mo pa pangalan ko. Hindi man lang ba nila alam ngayon na hindi naman talaga Maddie name mo?
B: Luckily, wala nagbanggit ng name ko! Pero maya maya lang dinner na and I'm sure jan ako mabubuking. Maddddddie, what the fuck am I going to do? Can you pick me up?
