As expected, the honeymoon was a disaster. They were supposed to stay for 2 weeks, but bigla bigla nagpa change si Bea ng booking after a week. Thirdy was disappointed. He has so many plans sa isip nya para lang matame nya ang misis nya.
The whole time, Bea was either on the phone talking to someone from work or out alone. Kailangan pa sya hanapin ni Thirdy. Gusto na mapagod ni Thirdy but parati nya inisip bakit sila andito in the first place. Sa isip nya, it isn't primarily because of the arrangement.
Nagulat ang Dad ni Bea when he saw her sa office nya. Bago pa sya makapasok, naabutan na sya ni Thirdy.
"What happened?" Elmer asked him.
"Hi dad, she rebooked our flight, buti nga sinama pa nya ako." Thirdy said laughing.
"I rebooked our flight, aalis na tayo 2 days from now!"
"Why?"
"Gusto mo ba maiwan? Pwede naman. I want to go home, I have work to do."
And just like that, dali dali syang nag ayos ng gamit nya.
"Oh, hi Dad, I didn't see you." Bati nya sa ama nya, Thirdy was behind.
"2 weeks bakasyon nyo, why did you cut it short?"
"It was boring, plus I have work to do. May proposal ako ginagawa."
"Ginagawa na ung proposal mo ah, diba sinabi ko sayo un before kayo umalis? Ipapakita na lang sayo ang draft after."
"Where is it? I need it now!"
Tumingin si Elmer kay Thirdy, alam na nya.
"Ako na po pupunta sa kabila." Thirdy offered.
"Sa kabila?" Bea asked, she was confused.
"Dun kanila Thirdy pinagawa ung proposal." Elmer said, massaging his nape.
Bea has never really been a headache as a kid. Baka sa pressure sa work that she has become the perfectionist that she is now. Parati may reklamo. When she assigns a job or a project, she gives out instructions as much as she can and expects everything to be perfect because that is how she will do it kung sya ang gagawa.
Elmer decided to leave Bea's office as soon as she saw Bea scanning through her emails, sigurado madami syang tanong and wala sa mood and Dad nya.
After a few mins, she saw her phone blinking from her peripherals.
It was Thirdy.
"What?" Bea asked as she picked up.
"Nasa email mo na ung proposal, check mo and tell me if may need ka pa idagdag or any changes you need to be made."
"Sige, I'll let you know."
"After 5 na kita susunduin, so we can go home."
" Maddie will pick me up, may pupuntahan kaming bagong bar. She'll bring me home."
"Ayaw mo ba muna mag dinner tayo bago kayo mag bar ni Maddie."
"I can have dinner with her naman. Sige, I'll see you at home na lang."
And the line went dead.
Before 5pm, Thirdy messaged her one last time, baka hindi sila matutuloy. But Bea was quick to tell him not to wait for her.
The following morning, Bea was awakened by a call. Pag check nya sa phone nya, it was Thirdy.
"Whaaat?"
"Asan ka, ano oras na di ka pa umuuwi, are you okay?"
"Sumagot ako diba, eh di okay ako. What do you need ba?"
"Asan ka ba?"
"Nasa bahay!"
"Susunduin na kita dyan. May tinitirhan na tayong sarili dyan ka pa nakitulog."
"Bahay namin ito, anong pinagsasabi mong nakitulog."
"Sige na, pupunta na ako dyan."
When Thirdy arrived, nagulat si Elmer and Det.
"O Thirdy, okay lang kayo, aga mo ata, where's Bea?" Det asked him.
"Tulog po sa kwarto nya." he said, pointing upstairs.
Nagkatinginan lang ang mag asawa.
"Dito natulog si Bea? Hindi naman naramdaman." Elmer said.
"Baka po madaling araw na umuwi."
Napailing ang In laws nya.
"Sige, akyatin mo na, sabay sabay na tayo kumain."
"Gisingin ko lang po."
Thirdy slowly opened the door after knocking. Bea sa already leaning on the headboard, looking at her phone. Sumilip lang bahagya when the door opened.
"How are you feeling?" Thirdy asked her.
"Sakit ng ulo ko ginising mo pa ako!"
"Halika na, kumain muna tayo sabi nila Mom so we can go home."
Di na pumalag si Bea at tumayo and went to the bathroom to wash up.
Nung makauwi sila sa condo ni Thirdy, dumerecho si Bea sa kwarto at humiga ulit.
"Do you need anything? Masakit pa ba ulo mo?"
"No, but I still want to sleep!"
"Next time, don't forget naman na hindi ka na sa LGV nakatira, dito ka na dederecho after work or after kung saan ka man galing."
"Ang liit naman kasi nitong unit mo! Ang sikip, wala pa ung iba kong mga gamit!"
"Sleep if you want, I'll show you something when you wake up." Sabi ni Thirdy sa kanya.
"Ano naman?"
"Basta, I have something for you. Matutulog ka ba, lalabas muna ako."
"Fine!"
"Ano na nangyari sayo dyan?" Thirdy asked Anton as soon as lumabas sya unit.
"Okay na ung mga basics, pwede na ito mamaya. Papunta ka na ba?"
"Oo, matutulog daw si Bea, tamang tama lang. Si Maddie ba sinabihan mo, baka mamaya sumama na naman sya kay Bea pag nag aya lumabas."
"Clear na si Maddie, bro, don't worry, tuloy ito."
"Thanks, bro, maasahan ka talaga." Thirdy said, thankful kay Anton who helps him with his plan hoping na makita ni Bea efforts nya.
"Hay ewan ko sayo. Saan mo ba binili yang helmet mo, diko maintindihan bakit dika pa mauntog untog."
"Stop na, I'll make this work!"
"Goodluck with that. Tingnan natin hanggang kelan ka tatagal."
