Maaga pa the following day, dumating si Bea, hinatid ni Maddie sa hotel. When she arrived nakita nya si Thirdy and Anton sa sofa, may alak sa table, so alam na nya na nag inuman din ung magkaibigan.
Di na nya ginising ung dalawa, she went straight to the room and started fixing her things, bago pa sya natapos, she felt Thirdy behind her.
"Kamusta naman labas nyo ni Maddie, on our wedding night?"
"Pwede ba Thirdy, wag na tayo maglokohan. Do you honestly believe that this is going to work?"
"It may or may not, I think it depends sa atin dalawa, specifically, ikaw?"
"Ako?"
"I'm in with this set up, I'm all for it, honestly. If our parents think this is the best way to go, then yes, I'd be willing to make it work but I need your cooperation."
"Why does it have to always be about the money?" Bea asked, desperately.
"It isn't just about the money, Bea. I hope you see the bigger picture. If you think outside the box, this is about our future and the future of this company, our kids."
"Wait, OUR kids?"
"Magiging anak mo, magiging anak ko, it doesn't necessarily mean na anak natin sila. Sabi mo nga, ayaw mo sa akin, diba."
"Good that you know! Mabuti maliwanag. Lumabas ka na doon, mag aayos ako ng gamit ko para makauwi na ako."
"Tayo, Bea, sabay tayo uuwi. Sasama ka sa akin. Pupunta muna tayo sa inyo, dadaan tayo kanila Mama tapos derecho na tayo sa condo ko." Thirdy gave her a rundown of what today will be for them.
"Ang liit ng condo mo! Parang size lang ata ng room ko un?" Bea said.
"Akala mo lang maliit, grabe ka! Mag ayos ka na I'll prepare breakfast!"
When Thirdy went out of the room, he saw Anton, nakaupo na sa sofa. Thirdy closed the door para may privacy si Bea.
"Okay ka lang?" Anton asked him.
"Yup! Day 1 pa lang ito." Thirdy said.
"Alam mo, bro, why don't you just have fun and not get stuck in this arrangement na walang kwenta."
"I'm going to make this work, Anton. Tigilan mo na satsat mo dyan and help me arrange breakfast bago tayo umuwi."
"You're imposiible, Thirdy. You have almost everything, you can even get any woman na magustuhan mo, let this go."
"Alam mo, bro, sa ngayon di mo naiintindihan kasi you don't see it the way that I see it. May chemistry kami, kailangan lang timplahin ng maayos at lalabas din un."
"Wow, kelan ka pa naging chemist?" Biro ni Anton sa kanya.
"Wag ka na nga magulo, tulungan mo na lang ako!" Pakiusap ni Thirdy sa kanya.
Thirdy and Anton was busy preparing the table when Bea emerged from the room bitbit na lahat ng gamit. Tumingin sandali sa mesa and headed her way to the door.
"Oooops saan ka pupunta?" Nagmamadaling hinabol ni Thirdy si Bea at hinawakan agad ang braso.
"Aalis na, hindi ba obvious?"
"Ready na ang breakfast, kakain muna tayo tsaka tayo aalis like what I said kanina, diba?"
Bea looked at Anton, he immediately smiled at her.
"You're cute, ngayon ko lang napansin." Sabi ni Bea kay Anton.
"Ah haha ganun talaga kasi babyface ako, lika na kain na tayo baka mabugbog ako ni bespren Thirdy."
Thirdy was glaring at Anton the whole time.
"Did you bring your car, Anton?" Tanong ni Bea sa kanya.
"Ha? Ah oo, why?" Anton asked her, puzzled.
"Anong sasakyan gagamitin natin pauwi?" Bea asked Thirdy.
"Ung sasakyan ko." Thirdy replied.
"Kay Anton ka na kaya sumakay, magkita na lang tayo sa bahay."
"Ay, ano, pa South kasi ako, may pupuntahan ako." Excuse ni Anton.
"Eh di hatid mo muna si Thirdy sa bahay namin. Dadalhin ko sasakyan nya, ayaw ko may kasama kasi when I'm driving unless it's Maddie or my family."
"Enough, Bea. We have already figured this out, okay?"
"We? How do you define 'we' nga pala. Sa pagkakaalala ko kasi ako ang walang say sa arrangement nito. Lahat kayo nagdecide, for me. I've never been spoon fed this way!"
"Teka lang ha, ahmm late na ako sa papunta South. Bro, iwan ko na muna kayo ni Misis. Tawagan mo na lang ako. Bye Misis Ravena." Anton said as he attempted to leave the two.
Hindi na din natapos ng newlyweds ang pagkain. Tumayo na si Thirdy, called the receptionist and prepared to leave. Lumabas muna sila ng kwarto while the bellboy checks the room to make sure wala sila naiwan. Nakasimangot lang si Bea the whole time, halos hindi pinapansin ang staff na bumabati at nagpapasalamat sa kanila.
Nung nasa kotse na sila in their way home, Thirdy took Bea's hand.
"Magtulungan na lang tayo, please, just cooperate, that's all I ask. In a few days aalis tayo for our honeymoon and it's just going to be the two of us. Why don't we take that time to get to know each other."
Bea pulled out her hand.
"Get to know each other my ass!"
