I walked to the principals office with my head feeling the impact of the fall and my ankles in pain. When I'd finally staggered to the principals office, I knocked on the door.
"Come in," a voice said.

I opened the door and went inside. The room had blue walls, there was a window behind the Principal's desk, and on either sides of the wall, there were two massive bookshelves. They were filled with books (some old and some new). Also, there were certificates and plaques decorated around the room. Finally, in the middle of the room there was a desk, with a angry looking principal behind it.

"Sit!" The principal said directing to a seat opposite the desk. I stayed silent and sat down, I was very nervous.
"So, Miss Mason, why are you here?" He asked.
"Urmmm well we we're in PE and then Flash started to ask me about the bruise on my cheek, and then-' I started.
"I don't care what Flash did, I care about what you did and how you ended up here," the principal said.
"Well, Flash has made me really angry after he-" I started again.
"Miss Mason! For the last time, I don't care what Flash did, I want to know what you did!" He yelled, his voice booming through the office.
"Fine! I punched Flash in the face," I muttered.
"I can't hear you!" The Principal shouted.
"I PUNCHED FLASH IN THE FACE!" I yelled.

There was silence. I stared down at my feet,
"do you have a teacher who can prove what you did?" The principal asked me.
"Uhm yeah the coach," I told him.
"Ok, I'll talk to him and be back," He said and got up and walked out leaving me alone in his office.

I sat on the chair and stared at the floor. Why wasn't I allowed to say what Flash did! Also, the coach with just say that Flash did nothing wrong even though he's wrong.

I was going to be in so much trouble. I closed my eyes trying to get rid of some of the pain in my head but it wasn't working. My head throbbed. My cheek which already had the bruise on it, throbbed so much. The other side of my face also hurt but not as much.

The Principal walked back into the room and turned to me to say
"So your teacher did say you punched him but also apparently you swore at everyone," He said sitting down at his desk.
"Yes but it was directed at Flash, I was really angry! He kept calling Peter my boyfriend and then he kept slapping me across the face and then he-" I rambled on.
"Miss Mason, Stop! This behaviour is unacceptable! I'm calling your parents to take you home this instant!" The Principal yelled.

I stayed silent in my seat. I was so scared. My leg kept tapping on the floor through the whole duration of the phone call. When he had finished on the phone, he said
"Your parents will be picking you up now, please wait here and stay silent," The principal said and then left the room.

I did as he said. About 10-20 minutes later, The door opened and two people walked in, it was Yelena and Clint.
"Y/n! Fighting at school!" Yelena yelled in her Russian accent.
"C'mon! Let's go," Clint said.

I got up and silently walked out of school. There was a car parked upfront. Clint opened the door for me and I got it.
"Hey Y/n, what happened?" Yelena asked as she got in the car and sat next to me.
"Oh, well didn't the principal tell you?" I asked nervously.
"Well...yeah but we want to hear what really happened," Clint said.
"We know your more injured than yesterday," Yelena whispered in my ear.

I explained everything that had happened up until I'd left the gym.
"Well that's unfair, I want to meet this Flash guy," Clint said.
"N-No you don't," I said nervously.
"Yes I do, he hurt my Y/n," Yelena said.

I stayed silent on the way home. We we're nearly there and Clint and Yelena had noticed that my head really hurt.
"Hey Y/n, why don't you try and go to sleep," Clint suggested.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yeah, now sleep," Yelena ordered.

I led my head against the glass and shut my eyes. I wanted to cry out in pain but I kept my mouth shut...but that didn't stop the tears falling lightly down my face.

I woke up in my bedroom, and slowly lifted my head. The pain came back. I groaned and led back down.
"Hey Y/n, are you ok?" I heard a soft voice ask me.
"Umm I..think...so," I said.
"Let's go downstairs," the voice suggested.

I opened my eyes and got up. Kate had been the voice.
"I heard what happened," she said. "I think it's pretty badass you punched him, I mean I don't even know this guy and he sounds like a right twat," Kate continued.

When we walked downstairs, my parents were the first to greet us.
"Hey sweetie, how are you doing?" Mum asked calmly.
"I'm alright," I said.
"Ok, well we need to talk punishment real quick," Dad said.
"What!?" I asked.
"Honey, you punched a kid in the face, we can't just let that go," Mum said.
"But...But he slapped me and then I nearly got a concussion!" I explained.
"But then you swore at everyone," Dad said.
"Because he kept telling everyone Peter was my boyfriend!" I yelled back.
"That's it! Your grounded for a week!" Mum yelled.
"Ughhhh!" I yelled and stomped back upstairs.

I had never been grounded before but I had watched enough movies and seen Felicity get grounded enough times to know what it means.

I went to me room and closed the door. I sat on my bed and stared at the wall. A waterfall of tears flowing down my eyes. Just then, dad came in.
"Y/n, we didn't give you all the rules about you being grounded," he said. "You can't go anywhere but the compound and school, and only can watch tv after you've done all of your homework," Dad explained.
"Ok," I said "that seems fair,"
"Good, now do you homework and then come downstairs for some dinner," Dad said and then left my room.
