20. Date

I was sat clicking my pen in English. I was bored out of my mind. Today, my dad was on a mission with some of the avengers. I knew that he'd be fine but I was still worried.

Maybe I should talk to him about getting some training for my powers?

Just then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder.
"N/N, Y/N Mason, earth to Y/N Mason," Someone said. I focused. It was Peter.
"Pete?" I asked.
"Yeah it's me, it's the end of the lesson, let's go," he said and I nodded.

We started to walk out of school holding hands. My hands were shaking trying not to worry Peter but he noticed.
"Y/n are you alright? You seem on edge," he said.
"Yeah I'm alright," I said.
"Mmhmm," he said in disbelief. "Y/n you can trust me," he said.
"Yeah well the last person I trusted, turned out to be a kidnapper," I said under my breath.
"What did you say?" Peter asked me.
"Nothing, and well yeah, I'm kinda worried about something," I said changing the subject.
"Well, I know what to distract you with, how about a trip to Delmars," he said.
"Hmm, isn't that the sandwich shop?" I asked.
"Yes, now c'mon," he said and I followed him to the centre of Queens.

He took me to the shop.
"Hi, please can I have two ham, cheese, pickle on french bread with mustard, grilled and pressed flat." Peter asked.
"Yes, who's the girl," the guy behind the counter asked.
"That's Y/n," Peter said.
"Very nice to meet you Y/n," he said holding his hand out for me to shake it. I shook his hand before giving Peter the sandwich's in a bag.
"Enjoy your date," The guy said.
"It's not a date, but thank you for the sandwiches," Peter yelled back.

We went over to a bench to sit down.
"Here you go," Peter said handing me the sandwich. We started to eat them when I noticed something in the ATM place across the street.
"Uhm, Peter can you see this?" I asked. I waited for his response but I didn't get one. That's because, when I turned around, he was gone.

Peter POV

I didn't want to leave Y/n but I had to. As Spider-Man it's my job to protect the people and the city. I quickly grabbed my suit out of my backpack and left Y/n on the bench.

I went to an alleyway to get changed quickly. Then, I swung over the wall and made my way to the ATM.

When I got inside, there we're men stealing money with a laser and a glowing thing that looked like it belonged in space.

They were so preoccupied with what they were doing, they didn't notice me. I cleared my throat to get there attention before saying
"What's up guys, You forget your PIN number?".

The first guy, who was wearing a Thor mask, turned to me. They all the others saw me. They we're also wearing Avengers masks. There was a Hulk, Iron man and Captain America.
"Woah, you're the Avengers! What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

I shot my web-shooter at the guy wearing the iron-man mask. It stuck to the gun and I pulled it making it knock the other guys out of the way. The Thor guy put his elbow up against my chest and I pushed it away.
"Thor, Hulk, Good to finally meet you guys," I said while jumping to stick on the ceiling.
"I thought you'd expect more handsome in person," I said while casually chucking him into the wall.

Next, the iron-man guy went to swing at my head but I ducked away.
"Hey iron man, what are you doing robbing a bank?" I asked. "Your a billionaire!" I exclaimed while grabbing his hand before he could make another swing at my face.

I pushed the Iron-Man guy away which also knocked the guy wearing the Hulk mask onto the floor. The Captain America guy was still trying to work on open wing the atm and getting the money. Well, that was before he grabbed the blue thing that made the atm door hover and pointed it directly at me.
