I felt my eyes open slowly and saw a load of wires and machines in front of me. I was in a hospital? But why what had happened.

"Y/n, oh Y/n I'm so glad your awake!" I heard a familiar voice cry. I turned over and saw Joanne...but she's dead?

I was so confused and just lay there.
"Mum?" I asked, I'd better not call her Joanne, she probably wouldn't like that.
"Y/n, oh I'm so glad your awake!" She said again.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Oh honey you we're in a coma, you have been for a few months now," she told me. What was she on about? Was I back in the UK.

Just then a doctor came into the room.
"Oh Y/n, your awake! Well that's good, we will just give you a few check ups and then she's free to go," the doctor said more directing the second part to my mother.

Joanne stroked my hair and smiled at me.
"Your so brave," she told me and I smiled.

The doctor came back into the room, they started with my sats and reflexes.
"Hmm, you seem stable, I think we need to do a few more checks though before we fully send you away," The doctor told us.

I lay there in the bed until I remembered something, the shoebox. If I showed Joanne it maybe I could go back to the Stark's. But then why was I here in the first place. I know they had said that I was in a coma but from what I remember rightly, I was just sat with Peter a few minutes ago and he was telling me something was wrong. But what was that thing? I needed to help him to solve the danger.

I lay back on the pillows thinking about my plan. It was going to work, it had to.

When I got home I was going to grab the shoebox. I was going to expose Joanne for kidnapping me and then go back to my real parents and finally live where I belong again.

God I missed them all, Natasha, Kate, Wanda, Yelena, Bucky, Steve, Sam, Clint, Mum, Dad, Vision, Morgan, Thor, Loki, MJ, Ned but mainly Peter. My perfect boyfriend who I loved with all my heart.

The doctors came back to give me a blood test. I was not excited for it but I knew it had to be done. I closed my eyes and I slightly felt the needle going into my arm. I hated the feeling but it was soon over.

The doctor went to check my blood while I was given some lunch. I had a mini lasagne, a bread roll, a chocolate pudding and a milkshake.

I ate it all because I didn't realise how hungry I was. The doctor came back with the results shortly after and I was allowed to leave.

I was shown where the bathrooms were and so I went to get changed and freshen myself up a little bit. I did it quickly though so I could find the shoebox with all the answers.

I left the hospital with my mother and we walked out of there. It was cold and raining so I walked quickly to the car. I got inside and my mum started to drive.

"I know mother," I told her.
"Y/n what are you talking about?" She asked.
"The shoebox in the attic,"
"What shoebox? Y/n I have no idea what you are talking about," my mum said.

I guessed that she was lying so I kept interrogating her.

"I know your lying, there's a shoebox in the attic and it tells me that I am you and Tony Stark's daughter. But in reality I'm not even your daughter, you kidnapped me," I told her.
"Y/n, you do realise that Tony Stark is a fictional character right?" She asked me.
"He's not! He's my father! Why won't you stop lying," I told her.
"Fine, if you think he's your father then you can look for the shoebox Y/n, but I can assure you, you will not find anything," my mum said.

She continued to drive in silence. I had obviously upset her. I hadn't meant to do that but she shouldn't have lied to me either.

When we got home I helped my mum carry in the hospital bags. I took the ones that we're mine upstairs and started to unpack them. Soon after I was too desperate to find the shoebox so I stopped and grabbed the stick out of the airing cupboard. I pulled the door of the attic down and the legs came down with it.

I climbed up the stairs and just like before there was a load of boxes. I went through all of them and it took me a long time because of the sheer amount of boxes. It was really dusty and grimy upstairs so i was coughing a lot. I was going in the direction that the boxes we're in until I stopped. I had found the box that I was looking for. It was closed up with some brown tape that I ripped off.

I stood there hesitantly about to open the box. What if my mother was right and there was nothing? What if it was all a dream that I had thought of while I was in a coma. What if my mother wasn't lying?

All those answers were going to be found out when I opened this box.

I closed my eyes for a second before opening it. I counted in my head.

3, oh my gosh this is crazy what if it is real.

2, what if my mother was right? Oh god at I having second thoughts. You can get through this Y/n, I know you can.

1, oh gosh this is so scary. Why am I starting to believe my mother? Ugh Y/n, pull yourself together and open to ur god damn eyes.

I finally opened my eyes and scanned the cardboard box. There was no shoebox in sight...

THE END
