I was being hit with a bat, I fell on the floor and whacked my head. I was in a lot of pain but I couldn't get up. I felt a stick hitting my back. Each hit was even more painful. I tried to kick the bat with my legs but it didn't work. I was absolutely exhausted and in a lot of pain.

I woke up in the room with a huge bright light. I squinted my eyes and sat up. I fully opened them and saw a load of wires that were hooked up to machines. I was in a hospital bed.
"Oh hey y/n your awake," Bruce said as he walked into the room.

"What happened?" I asked. I was really confused.
"Well I gave you the antidote to the super soldier serum and you fainted." Bruce explained.
"Oh," I said quietly.

I remembered the way I had felt before the soldier serum. It was so different and made me feel weak.

"Y/n are you ok?" Bruce asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said.
"Ok, I will have to do a few tests on you before I let you free," Bruce told me and I nodded.

He walked over to a table and picked up a clipboard he was reading down the list when I remembered something else.

"Hmm, her overall body is strong but it could do with some work, and she needs to loose some weight it says," the guy told me.
"Why do I need to lose weight?" I asked confused.
"Dear girl, you don't understand, your a super soldier now you need to be strong and don't want a few extra pounds of weight holding us down so we?" He asked. I shook my head, he turned to face me.
"You are wrong young girl, I am always right, now away with you," he said.

"Y/n, y/n honey are you alright?" Natasha asked. She was here now.
"I'm fine," I told her nodding.
"Ok good, now get ready because Bruce is going to give you some tests, if you pass them you can leave," Nat told me.

She sat on the bed next to me and stroked my hair as Bruce checked things. He checked my blood pressure, reflexes, height, weight and body temperature. I didn't see why this was necessary however Bruce did it.

"You are fine, but there is only one thing I'm worried about, you see there is a difference in your weight since the last check-up...would that have anything to do with hydra?" He asked me.

I stayed silent and he gave me the chart. I studied it and so did Nat.
"H-How long was I in Hydra?" I asked hesitantly.
"Around two weeks, it took us a while to find you and the location of hydra," Nat said.

I sat in silence processing what she had said.
"Look, I didn't know how time was passing, I was unconscious most of the time as well, to be honest it was a blur most of the time.." I started.
"Y/n don't tell me what I'm thinking," Natasha said worried.
"I, I don't remember ever actually eating...they told me that I was fat and I needed to loose weight, they told me to get rid of a few pounds because super soldiers don't want to be carrying around extra weight. I tried to tell him no because I didn't agree with it but he told me that I was wrong and that he was always right," I told them quietly.

There was a bit of silence, Natasha hugged me. I hugged into it and stared to cry on her shoulder.

"Y/n I'm so sorry I had no idea," I heard someone say.

I turned around and Bucky was there.
"Bucky?" I asked.
"Y/n, did you know that I was a super soldier as well?" He asked.
"No," I said quietly.
"Yeah I was, during world war II, I had fell of a train and hydra found me, I was brainwashed and I didn't remember anyone, I just thought of killing and my mission, Steve saved me essentially, somehow I remembered him however it was too late and Hydra brainwashed me again, the only way that I could get out of it was going to Wakanda, I am different now, and I know my own mind, you could benefit from it if you wanted it," Bucky said.

I stared at him in the doorway, it seemed like a good idea but I wasn't sure, I mean Bruce had done well to save me from the super soldier serum taking over my body, but I couldn't stop thinking about it and it made me feel unsafe.

Bruce was the one to break the silence.
"Y/n, I think you should go, the Wakanda's have better technology than us here, and they might be able to help in more ways than you know,"

I gave it a thought and then turned to Bruce.
"Looks like we're going to be taking a trip to Wakanda then,"
