Change of Heart

I saw the lanky blonde boy walking over to me, in that moment i realized he kind of looks like a bread stick. I started giggling to myself and stopped once I saw him inches away from me. Luke looked down at me, he had to actually look down to talk to me because he was so tall.

I did not want to talk to him at all but I can't ignore him. When he was standing next to me he finally said with a serious mono tone voice "Sorry if I was rude to you earlier". In a not convinced voice i said with a sassy look on my face "I'm guessing Michael told you to come say this to me?" It took me by surprise when he laughed and said to me while smiling with his perfect teeth, "You really think I'm this horrible guy don't you? It just gets hard when my friends aren't as serious as I am about something we all love doing, and I truly am sorry about how I acted. I promise I will make it up to you and you'll see I'm not as horrible as you think!".

Part of me wanted him to make it up to me but at the same time he didn't have the right to be a jerk in the first place!

When it was time to leave i gave all the boys hugs, yes sadly even Luke. Michael gave me his phone number because he wanted to hangout sometime, I was really happy to meet a new friend who had things in common with me.

While I was walking back to Lisa's car I heard a voice yelling to me, "Hey Sophia! Let me give you my number so I can make it up to you for being an ass",  by my surprise it was Luke. I decided to just give him my number so he would hopefully leave me alone. He probably won't even text me or if he does it will be to get Lisa's number or something.

**After the car ride back home**

I arrived back home around dinner time, my parents asked their usual 'how was your day' questions while we ate. I went to my room to listen to some music in order to unwind from a fun yet confusing day. I was proud of myself because I actually made friends and even met someone who I might like more than a friend..
