Change of Heart

Today started like any other summer morning. I woke up around 11 AM and went downstair for breakfast, yes i still eat breakfast at 11 AM.

As i walk down the stairs I can already smell the leftover bacon and sausage on the stove, my favorite!  My dad knows I love breakfast and always leaves me with some food to eat when i decide to wake up.

I decided to text my cousin and see what she was up to for today. My cousin was beautful with long blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, oh and of course an awesome body. Almost every guy wanted her and every girl wanted to be her, including myself. I've never concidered myself to be beautiful, my older and younger sister are what I would call beautiful. Just like my cousin they were in good shape but like me had dark brown hair and brown eyes. They were both beautiful and I've always been jealous of that. 

My cousin Lisa texted me back-

Lisa: Hey girl! I'm going out with my brother to meet up with some of his friends if you want to come with!!

Me: uhh i guess ill come. Maybe try to shake off some of my awkwardness before going to back to college!

Lisa: Shut up! you're a good awkward lol, see you in an hour!

I thought it would be a good idea to start getting ready! I put on my usual outfit which was usually given dirty looks by my sisters. I wore my black t-shirt with my red flannel, light wash jean shorts which were a good lenghth becasue i've always been self-concious of my legs, to top it off i wore my black high top converse.

**One hour later**

I heard my cousin beep her horn in my driveway and finished putting on my masacara and red lipstick. I made sure i grabbed my wallet and flew out the door so fast that i forgot to say goodbye to my parents, oops.

We had out usual car talks and listened to modern music which i enjoyed but i liked more of the rock pop music that no one else in my family lsitened to. Lisa looked over at me clearly knowing im nervous about meeting new people and said "Sophia you need to chill, ya Aj has cute friends but you're gorg and they will love you and your awkwardness!". Aj was her brother and even though i should feel better after what she said all I could say was "Its ok ill let you do your thing, they'll like you more than they'll ever like me anyways". After that we pulled into the little strip mall and got out of the car.

As Lisa and I were walking over to my cousin and his friends I realized how cute Lisa dressed and how stupid I looked and now felt.

We both walked over to the boys, well for Lisa it more of a model walk compared to mine.
