Ellah's POV

The insecticon, which I had recognized as Hardshell, leaned down and looked under the monitor. I stayed behind the leg with Kate, who was breathing heavily.

If Hardshell was on the Decepticon ship alive, but Smokescreen wasn't with the Autobots yet, we must be somewhere around the time they all go after the four uncoded Iacon relics.

Suddenly, a groundbridge opened beneath us and we slid through, falling straight into a shiny metal palm when we reached the other side.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" Megatron asked, his grin revealing pointed teeth.

Soundwave stepped forward, his visor showing a picture of Jack, Miko, and Raf.

I had an idea.

"That's obviously not us." I told Soundwave.

"Oh we know. But you're still the Autobots' pets aren't you?" Megatron grinned.

"That's hilarious." I scoffed.

His smile disappeared, "Well then who are you?"

I scratched my chin, "I'm Ellah and this is Kate. I'm sorry we're here. I must have messed up the coordinates on Shockwave's computer."

"Shockwave!?" He exclaimed, "How do you know Shockwave?"

"Oh, we've been collecting predicon bones for him for a few years now. Ever since his groundbridge got messed up from a solar storm and now it's too small for him to fit through. He's trying to fix it, but it's been difficult. Energon is in short supply on Cybertron, as I'm sure you know, Lord Megatron." I told him.

Megatron turned and looked at Soundwave, not sure what to think about what I had said.

Soundwave stayed quiet for a moment before pointing at Kate. My gut twisted in worry. Kate sucked at lying.

Well, Kate sucked at most things.

Megatron turned back to us, "What does your accomplice, Kate, have to say?"

"Um- wh- what do you want me to say? Ell- Ellah pretty much covered everything." Kate stuttered in terror.

"Tell me, fleshy, why were you two hiding?" Megatron asked her.

I looked at Kate emotionlessly as she fumbled to come up with an answer.

"I- I don't know. Ellah is the boss. I d- don't question her." Kate told him.

Phew.

"So?" He asked, looking back at me.

"Shockwave didn't wish for you to know that he was alive until his spacebridge and secret weapon was ready for his arrival." I explained.

Megatron nodded, "Will he be expecting you back soon?"

I frowned, "Well we were supposed to be back already, but the space bridge didn't teleport us back to Cybertron like it was supposed to. What's why we are here."

"Where is your device for the bridge? Knockout may be able to fix it." Megatron asked.

"It exploded."

He frowned.

Kate suddenly sneezed and tripped on air, falling backward and off the side of Megatron's hand.

He quickly reached out with the other hand and grabbed her.

"Why would Shockwave ever want to work with a human? They're so fragile." Megatron rolled his eyes.

Kate sneezed twice more in response and I grimaced.

He laughed, "Although slightly amusing."

"Soundwave, take the smarter human to Knockout. They'll have to reconstruct a device for Shockwave's spacebridge." Megatron ordered, dropping me into Soundwave's slender fingers.
