Rose's POV
"Rose, we might not have been real in your world, but we are here. And we are all here for you." Optimus said, his gentle voice making me feel even more guilty.
"But they were my everything. And now they've all left me." I whispered.
Optimus shifted me again and I looked up into his bright blue optics, feeling as if nothing he said could ever fix the feeling inside of me.
"Anne is still here. Ratchet told me she will survive. She's already woken up once." He informed me.
"She- Anne is- She's okay?" I asked.
He nodded and I sighed, feeling as if a mountain had been lifted off my shoulders. Kate's betrayal and Ellah's death seemed forgotten for a moment as I stood up.
"I need to see her."
Optimus stood up, cupping his fingers slightly as I swayed unsteadily. He walked into the base, everyone sending him discreet glances of worry.
Scrap. I was so busy thinking about myself that I didn't even do anything for-
I saw Ratchet holding a medical cot, where Anne was sitting, looking around tiredly.
Optimus and Ratchet put us down next to the monitor and I ran over.
"Anne are you okay!?" I asked, touching her arm lightly.
"Fine. Rose, you have to tell me why Kate is working with Megatron? How could she do this?" Anne asked.
I looked down, "She's... I, um... Kate said it because she didn't have any special talents except being... funny. She said that in this dimension, she knew so much and she was helpful... She told us that Megatron was nice to her and he needed her help, so she left us."
Anne glared, looking at her toes, "If the fate of Cybertron didn't depend on that fragging scrap-brained tailpipe, I'd tear out his spark so slow that his parental units would feel it."
We all stared at her in surprise. The pale girl's face showing a fury so unlike her that I had to physically resist the urge to step back.
"Wait- What do you mean the fate of Cybertron depends on him?" Arcee asked.
Anne frowned, "Primus told me that we had to unite the Autobots and Decepticons or else."
I scoffed, "Oh yeah, that's going to happen."
"I'd rather Cybertron die than live on it with the Decepticons." Arcee growled.
"Arcee!" Ratchet scolded.
"You know she's right. How could we ever forgive them for what they've done?" Bulkhead asked.
"And we all know Megatron doesn't plan on exchanging olive branches anytime soon." Bumblebee crossed his arms.
"It's Cybertron! Our home planet! None of you are even willing to try?" Ratchet asked.
"Wait. The trade." Anne said.
I looked at her, "It would still be an ambush."
"Not if they are expecting it and the cons wouldn't have anyone to use anyway!" Anne said.
I rubbed my chin, "Megatron will know about our ambush."
"What can he do to stop them?" Anne asked.
"What are you referring to?" Optimus asked.
"So, once you get to Cybertron-"
"We don't have a spacebridge." Arcee pointed out.
