Third POV

7 Years Ago - 2 Months after Ellah Moved In

"It will destroy the balance." Solus Prime said, watching the four girls.

"The balance is already long gone." Vector Prime replied.

"ROSE! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Kate yelled, walking out of the bathroom, her hair stuck together with superglue.

"Huh?" Rose turned around in confusion.

Kate tackled her, rolling across the floor, but even though she was completely caught by surprise, Rose quickly gained the upper hand.

"They are just children." Prima said lightly.

"Talented and knowledgeable children. Their loyalty and friendship is strong." Alchemist Prime said, "A strong mixture that should withhold even under the pressure of war."

"That may change." Amalgamous Prime replied.

Across the room, Ellah and Anne sat on their shared bed, watching the other two girls in smug satisfaction. A bottle of empty superglue sat in their dresser drawer innocently.

"Do you think they'll ever figure it out?" Anne asked.

"Not likely. Rose won't investigate. She'll just be happy to have a reason to fight Kate." Ellah replied.

"True."

"We all know that they have no future without us. In less than a decade, Mr. Scruw will attempt to kill them." Nexus Prime said.

"That is not our problem. People die to these sorts of things all the time." Megatronus Prime rolled his optics.

Micronus Prime scoffed, "Yes, but never before have we had such an opportunity to unite the two sides of the war."

"The chances of them actually uniting are very low." Liege Maximo Prime frowned.

"Without them, we can be sure that they will not unite. It is a chance we should take." Vector Prime replied.

"A chance that could change the outcome of the war in a way that we do not want it to." Prima told them.

"You know, I think we should do this more often." Ellah said, leaning back against the pillows.

"I do enjoy this from time to time, but I don't think-"

The door burst open and Mr. Scruw came walking in, an angry glare on his face.

"What is all the racket in here?" He demanded.

"Two birds!" Rose said, getting off of the floor. "They were fighting and kept running into the balcony window!"

"Birds?" He asked suspiciously.

"Oh yes. And then a cat tried to eat them and joined the fight!" Kate joined in.

"A cat?"

"Yes sir." All four of them replied at the same time.

He narrowed his eyes, "Next time, go out and shoo them away. You're interrupting my sleep."

The door slammed shut behind him and there was a long pause befire the girls all started giggling, minus Ellah, who simply smiled.

"We must take that risk. If the people are still divided between Decepticon and Autobot when Cybertron is revived, the battle will ensue, albeit less obviously." Solus Prime sighed.

The thirteen Primes looked at each other, a silent understanding passing between them.

"Then it is decided." Primus said.
