Megatron's POV

"Faster!"

Kate swung the blade, swinging it into mine with all the force in her body. I shoved it back and she stumbled, not having enough power left to balance herself.

"Use your hips. You don't need to throw your whole body into one attack. That makes you lose balance." I instructed.

She scowled, awkwardly turning her hips the moving the sword blade at an angle. It would have been an improvement if she hadn't put so much focus on turning her hips; however, being able to move the hips thoughtlessly was something aquired with practice, so I let it slide.

"Good. Watch your footing." I ordered. "Stance wide. Never have both feet directly across from each other. You need support. Keep the heel of the foot in the back up so that your calf muscle is tense and you have better mobility."

She lifted her heel and swung again, the arc too wide, leaving her midsection unguarded and perhaps her side if I moved the correct way and she did not reciprocate with her stance.

I knew I couldn't teach her too many skills at once or she would forget, so I decided to let that slide as well. Focus solely on what we were covering today.

"Footing is the key part of using a sword. Everything begins at the bottom and you build up from there. If you want to swing, your footing should change to support that, followed by your leg muscles, then your hips, abs, and then the swing. All in less than a second." I explained. "This is all about practice. These things must come to you naturally if you are to become a great swordswoman."

She nodded, sweat leaking from her brows as she jabbed at me. I blocked it and continued to circle her, preventing her from making getting even the smallest advantage.

There was no point in letting her win. Failure was the greatest tool of learning.

The doors opened and I dropped the holoform, opening my optics and turned toward a vechicon as he walked in.

"Lord Megatron, the trap has been triggered." He stated.

"Which one?"

"The Prime."

I glared, "There are five Primes!"

He stuttered, "T- the Optimus Prime Prime."

I offered Kate my hand and shoved past the ignorant buffoon. She smiled up at me tiredly.

"You did well today." I stated, looking ahead.

Times like these I really missed Soundwave. I had to walk all the way to the groundbridge area.

"All thanks to you." She grinned.

I looked at the vechicon in the control room, "How did you find them?"

"Some guy called the cops, claiming that a giant red and blue semi truck robot attacked him when he was having a meal with his daughter."

"I high doubt Optimus Prime was attacking a human." I rolled my eyes, "You sure he's not just an idiot?"

"Probably is, Lord Megatron, but we scanned the area. Found a small energon signal. Moving." The vechicon explained.

I nodded, "I'll go. Kate, stay here and train."

I handed her to the vechicons, who held her carefully in both hands, not moving at all in case he accidentally made her stumble or something.

I transformed and flew through the portal, slightly surprised at the change in temperature. Cold. Cybertronians weren't supposed to he in the cold for long.
