Kate's POV
"Are you kidding me!?"
Smokescreen burst through the wall, the phase shifter around his wrist and two omega keys under his arm.
"There you are!" He exclaimed, reaching down and grabbing all three of us in one hand.
"Let go of me!" I demanded.
"Riiight." He replied.
"Megatron will stop you! Ellah, contact Soundwave!" I ordered.
Ellah looked at me and her face softened, "This is for your own good, Kate."
I scoffed, "Fine."
I started screaming at the top of my lungs. Down the hall, footsteps started running our way.
"Make her stop!" Smokescreen hissed, running through another wall.
Rose covered my mouth with her hand, but I quickly bit it and continued to scream.
"Smokescreen, up!" Ellah directed, "And then jump off the ship!"
"Great idea!" Smokescreen told her.
"Tratior!" I yelled.
We got onto the roof and I lunged to the side, falling and hitting the metal floor roughly.
Smokescreen rolled his optics and reached down to grab me, but I rolled to the side.
"We don't have time for this!" He said as Megatron and other Decepticons began to come onto the roof.
I took off toward Megatron as he provided cover fire.
"Kate! Come back!" Rose yelled desperately as they were forced to back away.
"You've got nowhere to run, Smokescreen. Stand down." Megatron ordered.
"He's going to jump! Shoot him!" I told him.
Smokescreen jumped off the edge and Megatron growled, looking at me.
I smirked, "Easy. Take me with you."
He nodded and picked me up before transforming and flying after the falling Autobot.
"The Autobots are going to open a groundbridge under him, so all you have to do is knock him off course. Once we get far enough down, he'll use the phase shifter to-"
I was cut off by a loud screeching as Megatron slammed into Smokescreen and pushed him away from the portal.
"Continue." Megatron told me calmly.
"He'll use the shifter to survive the fall. In the show, you assumed he died on impact and left. They opened the groundbridge and he made his escape, but now, you just have to take him out before his reinforcements arrive." I explained.
"Perfect." Megatron said as Smokescreen went through the floor and two vechicons slammed into the ground after him, not including the car vechicon.
Megatron transformed and landed, quickly setting me on the ground. I pointed to the side as Smokescreen emerged from the rock with two humans and two omega keys.
"Ellah has betrayed us and your friend tried to kidnap you." Megatron said, pretending to look at the wreckage.
"I know."
"As you know, Orion Pax betrayed me and became my worst enemy. If I had had the gut to destroy him sooner, I might have won the war already." Megatron told me.
"I thought we were trying to get Smokescreen before the other Autobots arrived." I stated.
"A recent event has revealed to me how powerful you and your friends are. If they remain our enemies, they will become major threats." Megatron told me.
