This building is pretty weird, I mean I never knew about this whole side of the building, It's like it's been there for ages. The toyshop is simple, the shelves with rows of toys and candy, the stand where the creepy ass demon puppet poses on and stays there forever with replica toys under him all stocked up. On the left side of the toy-store, theres two glass doors that leads to the playhouse with slides, ball pits and trampolines. Not too big, size of the playhouse and toystore just right but where did this side come from? The hallways and everything. Did it magically appear, does Mr. Sunny have supernatural powers?
"Seriously another obstacle course and with a shredder waiting for us to fall and grind us to mince meat, how great." sarcastically said Pro.
We made it through the second obstacle course with Ayoi almost falling (again). We arrived to another entry door, this time the sign above it said, "Game 2".
"Now it's Game 2. Wonder what this game will be." I wondered.
"Congratulations! You survived and made it to Game 2, without me splashing your organs all over my mouth hehe." said Mr. Sunny.
"I swear where does his voice come from?" Ayoi asked.
I wondered the same thing. Does he actually have supernatural powers? Telepathy? Able to create a dimension or maybe create a domain? I was out of my mind.
"He probably has a nice microphone he's speaking into." Pro claimed.
"In this game you will play red light, green light...you know the rules. On red light you don't move. Which if you do, I will send sharp blades into your bodies. Here is an example." Mr. Sunny explained as a random guy in the distance who was scared out of his mind was simply standing there. He moved while in red light and a blade shot into his brain. We were shocked. Shadow wasn't though.
"On green light you may move until you reach the finish line. If you do not make it before the 9 minute timer, blades will be shot at you. You will be looking like a cactus haha! The doll who is a replica of me will be the one directing the game. Make sure not to die!" Mr. Sunny finished explaining while laughing.
"He's getting on my last nerve." Pro said angrily. "Using innocent people for fun, how disgusting."
He was the first one in the play area, rushing in like a headless chicken. Shadow followed him though. Me and Ayoi just stuck together since she was pretty weak.
The play area was big with a sky themed background. The ground was all dirt and sand. The replica doll was at the end standing next to a leafless tree.
"Green light....red light..." The doll said over and over again turning its robotic head in a 180 degree angle, super creepy. In only 2 minutes, Pro was already at the finish line. He sure was a pro at it. Shadow was halfway through. I was ahead of Ayoi as she kept begging for me to go back.
"Kokuuu! Come back, stop leaving me behind!" Ayoi begged.
Another 2 minutes passed. 5 minutes left. Time was racing, so was my heart beat. Probably for Shadow as well. Pro did not wait for us and headed through the exit door.
"So he has gone without us..." Shadow said.
"That jerk, he is so impatient. I can never stand him! Not even at work!" complained Ayoi.
Shadow made it through the finish line. Me and Ayoi were the only ones left.
"Green light...red light...green light...red light.."
The doll was getting faster the closer we got to the finish line, not giving us time to move. 1 minute and 30 seconds left. Time is going faster than it does during our shifts.
If I run at green light, I can give myself a boost...I thought to myself.
"Green light...."
I made a run for it, almost straining my leg.
"Red light!...."
I almost tripped because of the speed I was going at. That damn doll, it isn't giving me enough time, I thought to myself. I was posing like a statue about to fall over. I knew if I fell over, my life would be over in a flash like that guy Mr. Sunny used.
"Green light!...red light!"
1 minute left...50 seconds left. Time was running out and Shadow was waiting for us. Ayoi was at my tail.
"Oh no...time...is running out.." Ayoi said behind me.
Fun fact, I had a pretty strong grip on things and I was able to throw things pretty far with accuracy.
"Ayoi at green light, I'll grab your arm and throw you towards the finish line. Don't worry about me." I told her.
"You sure Koku? I mean I am still worried about you." Ayoi replied.
"Don't worry, I'll make it out alive." I said.
30 seconds left... "Green light!" I quickly grabbed Ayoi's arm and threw her towards the finish line. She made it...I was the only one left.
"Red light!...green light!"
20 seconds...10 seconds...
"Red light!...green light!..."
1 second....my foot touched right under the finish line at the last second. I threw myself with full force, no hesitation. I made it...so close but I made it. Ayoi and Shadow were smiling down at me. I could tell they were relieved that the red light did not stop me from making it through.
