Horror Hunters: The Phantom Game

Game 4: Empty Void Death Run

       There was a ladder that led somewhere above the platform we were on, we made it to the top, there was normal metallic door. When I opened it, we were in a small room, the wall was sky detailed, and there was a sign that said "Game 4". Finally we were in a game and not a mini game. We were closer, I could feel it.

        There was a big yellow lego pipe in the middle. It seemed we had to jump inside of the pipe. The floor was a lego mat, no kidding.

       "What are we waiting for, let's go already." Pro demanded.

        We all jumped in one by one into the pipe. We ended up in a different place, a completely different place. The background was the whole sky, there was a lego block road and a dark empty void below us. Mr. Sunny really did have powers, it came clear to me but I did not say anything about it to the others.

       "Where are we now?" Ayoi wondered.

       "Listen here you little rats, you are now in a different dimension, a dimension out of this world." Mr. Sunny spoke.

"I see so you have-" Haygen spoke before he was interrupted by Mr. Sunny.

"Anyways...this game is simple, it's another death speed run. All you have to do is run from where you are and go straightly to the end. There is gaps between the roads but you have not noticed that this dimension has low gravity." Mr. Sunny explained. "Let your deaths come to you all! Hehehehe!"

"So it's like that Mario game. Not only that but my body feels really light." said Pro.

"Yep! I used to love those games, this shouldn't be too hard. At least there's no timer but if we wall down I assume we fall to our deaths." Areku replied.

"No...it seems below us is a dark void, meaning that if we fall, we will fall for eternity in that void. You will be stuck in that void forever, even if we defeat Mr. Sunny." Haygen explained.

"Well let's not waste time then, if we don't go, Mr. Sunny will get bored and come to kill us instead." I claimed.

Everyone began to run. Areku and Pro went ahead of us.

   "Oh not again!! Those two!" Ayoi complained.

"It's ok, those two seem to have experience with this. They have some things in common." Haygen calmed Ayoi down. "We will simply follow them."

There was a gap we had to jump over. As I jumped, my body went high up due to the low gravity.

"Woah! This low gravity feels so weird!" I exclaimed.

"Agreed! We are able to leap further as well." Haygen responded.

"Hey do you guys hear that?" Shadow asked.

"Hear what?" responded Ayoi in confusion.

Shadow looked back as she saw Mr. Sunny's head but his head was gigantic. He was chasing us down while chomping his sharp teeth at us and swallowing the lego road alongside. Shadow had a worried expression on her face.

    "Watch out behind us!" Shadow warned us.

We all turned around at the same time, to see that death was right on our backs.

"Holy shit! He's so disgusting! Ahh I don't wanna die! I am only 18!" Ayoi wailed.

"Areku! Pro! Run faster! Mr. Sunny is chasing us!" I yelled loudly at the other two so they could hear me. It seems they did, they both turned around and saw Mr. Sunny's gigantic head chasing us.

"Oh my god Areku! Look! His head is as big as yours and he's chasing us!" Pro wailed as well.

"Seriously? Insulting me at a time like this?" said Areku with an irritated face. "Wait
a minute...what's that?" pointed Areku at a glowing block floating in the middle of the air.

"It's a power up!" exclaimed Pro in excitement.

"Wait, since it's a power up, let them get it instead. We don't know what it is but it seems it can help them fight off Mr. Sunny." Areku explained.

"Right..." said Pro in disappointment. Areku gave us a signal pointing to the block. I understood immediately what he was trying to say.

"Haygen, it seems there is a power up block ahead. We can use that to fight off Mr. Sunny." I explained to Haygen.

"Got it but we don't know what that block will give us." Haygen responded.

"We'll see what it is." I answered back. As soon as we got to the block, I jumped and bumped my fist at the bottom of it. When I did, the block exploded on Mr. Sunny's face, pushing him back.

"So that's what it is! Let's run faster!" Haygen exclaimed. Pro and Areku were nearing the end. Mr. Sunny was getting faster and faster.

"Telling from that explosion we heard, the block was definitely a bomb power up." said Pro.

"Was that supposed to be a pun?" wondered Areku. As they kept running they went up a brown ramp and lego logs started to roll down at them.

"Damn! Now this is annoying." said Pro as they continued on jumping over the logs.

"We need another bomb block or a distraction to delay him!" I said desperately. There was no power up block ahead. Mr. Sunny would devour us before we could see one.

We kept on jumping and leaping until we reached the ramp with lego logs rolling down on us.

"These things are so annoying! I hate having to run and jump constantly at the same time!" Ayoi complained.

        As we were heading toward the end of the ramp, Shadow spoke up.

"I am sorry but this is the only way to make up for not telling you guys anything from the start." said Shadow.

"Wait, what are you-" I responded but couldn't finish.

Shadow then proceeded to throw herself off the ramp and into Mr. Sunny's mouth.

      "Shadow!!!" cried Ayoi.

I was in shock and so was Haygen. Shadow disappeared into Mr. Sunny's mouth with a smile on her face.

"It looks like Mr. Sunny's mouth is also a dark void as well. Shadow is gone...forever..." explained Haygen in a dark tone.

"Shadow!!" Ayoi kept on yelling as tears flowed down her face.

We jumped over the ramp and landed at the other side. We had no time to waste but it seemed that Shadow's plan was to delay Mr. Sunny, and it worked.

Pro and Areku were waiting for us at the end. "There's another bomb powerup! Hurry!" Pro shouted.

We kept running further and closer to the power up block. As soon as we reached it, I grabbed Haygen and Ayoi and threw them as far as I could, closer to the end where the other two were.

"Koku! No!!" shouted Ayoi and Haygen at the same time.

"This is for Shadow you fucker..." I said to Mr. Sunny as I bumped my fist at the block like before and it exploded on Mr. Sunny's face. I clinged on the block before it exploded so the blast would send me flying to the end.

My plan worked and the blast sent me flying towards the end. Ayoi and Haygen were relieved. They catched up and made it to the end as well. Mr. Sunny's head started to crumble down to ashes and into the void below.

"You all made it but....where's Shadow?" Pro asked.

Haygen, Ayoi, and I stood there quietly with empty dark expressions on our faces.

"Shadow...she...is...gone..."
