The Hands of Justice

         "HAYGEN!!! NOOO!!" I cried out so loud my throat was burning up.

             "Are-ku." muttered Haygen.

       "Damn! My eye!! Fuck!!" Areku cried in pain. "Wait...HAYGEN."

         Areku went over to Haygens upper half. The rest of his body was split apart, although it scattered far from Haygen, Haygen's upper half was next to Areku.

         "Haygen...why...." Areku started to cry almost uncontrollably. I started to cry as well, so did Pro and Ayoi. Shadow couldn't contain herself and bit her lip really hard it started to bleed with tears in her eyes, it was painful.

         "Are-ku, listen...I know his weakness." Haygen slowly muttered.

         "Shut up dammit, don't speak just stay with me, maybe we can save you..." Areku desperately thought.

    "Areku...I've always seen you as my brother. Ever since my older brother died...you were always there for me." Haygen kept muttering.

          "I-I know that...please don't leave me..." Areku cried.

     "My little brother...Light, protect him, keep him away from Kira. If Kira is defeated it's obvious his soul will possess Miss Ani-Tronic. My little brother goes to the school where she resides. Kira is willing to risk his soul to take us out despite us surviving his games multiple times..." Haygen explained as he coughed up blood.

             "H-Haygen...." cried Pro.

     "Why? Why can't I move, I am losing a friend and he can't be saved like Shadow was. Why...is life so cruel..." I thought to myself as I cried with pure anger and grief.

      "We need to save Haygen..." Ayoi cried as she tripped on the floor from being tired of fighting the robot.

         Speaking of the robot, it stood still...it didn't bother to attack us. Was it respect? What was he waiting for...

         "I'll give you a moment of grief...out of respect for surviving this long..." Kira's voice spoke.

      
         "I wasn't always the best son a mother could have..." Haygen had his final thoughts.

Father...Mother...was I a good son to you?Light...was I a good older brother to you even after Herzay died?

              
                         —flashback—

       "Haygen...always keep your head up high no matter what, use your intelligence and strength to protect your loved ones, you are my pride and joy..." My dad gently spoke to me. I admired him so much, but when I was only 10, my father left our family to serve in the military. Later that year, we received the news that he died in battle...serving this country.

    When my mother heard of what happened, she was in a deep state of depression for 6-7 months. Light and I didn't know how to feel, we were young back then but my older brother Herzay, was angry. He was 15 at the time, he hated the world for taking our loving father from us. My mother was American and my father was from the carribean, from the Dominican Republic.

        5 years later...when more and more people began to disappear and be killed in our town. My brother joined the police force that year and decided to investigate on the person who was behind all of this.

     One night on a rainy day, he ended up catching the man behind all of the murders while he was killing a young lady. The man named Kira Mirai, he was behind all of it. Herzay went and fought Kira. He was very exceptional at martial arts.
