Speed Run Through Hell

"Pro, treat your wounds before we go." said Shadow.

"No Pro, lets just go to the next game or whatever is ahead of us." I replied.

"Hey, Koku! Let him rest for a bit-" said Ayoi before she was interrupted.

"No Ayoi...he's right, we have no time to waste. Even if we are tired we have to keep going." Pro interrupted.

"Well another rusted room, there's a ladder, wonder where it leads to." Areku wondered as he climbed up the ladder.

"No way....it's you...." Areku said in shock.

"Areku are you ok? What do you see?" Pro asked.

"Haygen!! Oh nice to see you again!" Areku exclaimed.

"Oh? Areku! We were separated but we meet again!" replied a mysterious voice.

We all climbed up the ladder and we saw Areku talking to someone else but what did he mean "we meet again"?

"This is my hunter partner, Haygen! He was the one who found out all about Kira Mirai!" Areku introduced the person.

"Yo! Nice to meet y'all!" said Haygen.

"So he is the partner who was abducted by Mr. Sunny?" Pro asked.

"Yup! That is me alright!" Haygen replied.

    We all introduced ourselves to Haygen and he introduced himself. It seemed he and Areku were friends since 1st grade. They both agreed to become hunters and take down Kira Mirai. Apparently Kira had killed Haygen's older brother 10 years ago. He was the one who brought the idea to become hunters. Areku just wanted justice for the people Kira killed.

"Were you shown the rest of the games? If so can you tell us?" I asked.

"Mr. Sunny only abducted me to use me as a bait for Areku to continue playing his games. I just got here actually." Haygen replied.

"Dammit, well Mr. Sunny is severely injured, Ayoi managed to cut his arm off." I claimed.

"No...Mr. Sunny can rebuild himself, Kira used high advanced technology, advanced for this time of course. He can probably rebuild his own arm or fix any other injuries." Haygen explained.

Ayoi had a face of disappointment, I mean we were almost killed and it took almost everything she had to cut his arm off.

"Are we not going to talk about the next game? Look!" Pro exclaimed and pointed beyond the stone platform we were on. There was a road or more like a race track, not to mention there was a boiling lava lake at the bottom. It was really hot.

At our left there was forklifts lined up at which seemed to be the start of the race track. There were gaps in between the tracks. No game sign though, so I assumed it was another mini game.

"It seems this is a mini game, there is no sign showing what game this is." said Haygen. "Theres 4 carts, 2 seats per cart. Ayoi and Shadow will go on the first one, me and Koku will go on the second one. Areku and Pro decide if you want to go on a car together or on your own."

"I'll go on my own. It'll be more fun that way." Pro replied.

Areku made weird puppy eyes when Pro said that. It seemed he wanted to go with Pro. "Fine, I'll go on my own as well but uh uh Haygen?" he asked.

"Yes? What is it?" Haygen replied.

"After we get out of here...do you want to play Among Us with me?" Areku asked with those same puppy eyes.

"Of course buddy!" said Haygen with a smile. He was a pretty attractive dude. He wasn't weird like Areku. He had middle parted black hair and his eyes were very nice. He also had a pretty cool necklace across his neck. He was the same height as me and was smarter than Areku.

We all went to the carts with our planned partners. Ayoi and Shadow were the first ones to go with Shadow driving. Me and Haygen went second with Haygen driving. Pro came after and Areku followed. It wasn't a race but Pro speeded ahead of us.

"Pro this isn't a race!" I yelled. He couldn't hear me but either ways he would have ignored me even if he heard me. The hot wind blew into our faces. The further we went the hotter it got. Our uniforms were thin so we didn't have to take those off.

A bit of driving later, "Hey, are we halfway through?" I asked Haygen. "This is like a speed run through hell itself."

"I don't know but I feel like we are, I don't know how long this race track is." Haygen replied.

"Shadow, you sure know how to drive these things. Have you drove one before?" Ayoi asked Shadow.

"I drive my mom's car once in a while." Shadow answered.

"This reminds me of playing Mario Kart as a kid, this is easy no chance of dying for me, I don't know about the others." Pro thought to himself.

He was able to see the end of the race track. "100 feet left? No, maybe less." Pro wondered as he tried estimating the length of the race track. For a 19 year old, he sure was childish some times but he had his own intelligence. I am 19 as well but I am more mature than him.

As he hit one of the ramps, the metal lifters on his car hit the ledge of the other side, stopping the car instantly and pushing it back to fall all the way down to the lava. He immediately held himself on the ledge as his car fell down and sinked into the lava, burning.

"Damn! Pro is in trouble! That idiot." I exclaimed. We all saw him struggle to get up but I had a plan to save him. Shadow and Ayoi were getting closer to him. Maybe they can save him instead, I thought to myself but no, I was wrong. They didn't even try to save him. They drove past him without attempting to save him.

"Aww, you whores!" Pro yelled in anger.

"Did they not bother to save him?" Haygen wondered.

"Damn, I guess we have to then. He better return the favor. Although if we fail to save him then theres Areku behind us, he can save him but we need him to catch on with our plan." I explained.

We were getting closer to him, as we got closer and about to hit the ramp, "Pro! Push yourself off when were almost at the other side!" I yelled loud enough for him to hear me. As we hit the ramp and the cart was going to land at the other side, he lifted and pushed himself off the ledge he was holding onto. In perfect timing I grabbed his arm that he held up for me to catch and threw him over on top of our cart.

"Hang in there!" exclaimed Haygen as he drove off another ramp getting us closer to the end. We could see that Shadow and Ayoi were already there, waiting for us. We drove off another ramp and made it to the end. The cart landed on the stone platform and Areku made it to the end safely as well.

We were all sweating alot due to the heat. I was kind of in a bad mood because of it and it was about to drive me insane.

"Hey! You two! You didn't bother to save me!" Pro protested angrily.

"We knew Koku or Areku would save you, hehe." Ayoi giggled. Shadow didn't say anything but she smiled a little.

"Who told you to speed up! It was your fault you couldn't handle the cart because of how fast you decided to go, idiot!" Ayoi argued back.

"You owe me one..." I said to Pro, smacking his head as I rolled my eyes at him.
