My Thoughts On How Mousy Lost Her Legs (Piggy)

I see how everyone keeps thinking that Robby brutally sliced Mousy's legs off with his chainsaw, which forced her to retreat into the vents. Honestly, I kinda doubt that theory, even though I used to believe in it. 

Number 1:
Mousy could've died from immense blood loss. Slicing her legs off like that would make her lose a lot of blood in a short amount of time, and there's no way she could've survived in the vents after she first got attacked. And the infection is no excuse for that, let me explain it in the next point-

Number 2:
How did Mousy get infected just from her legs getting sliced off? Robby is a robot, that can't get infected. And it's not like there's a random potion in the vents that Mousy decides to foolishly drink. But still, if you headcanon Robby attacking her while still having infected blood on his chainsaw, it still makes sense since the infection can only be transmitted by fluid. 

Here's how I think Mousy lost her legs AND got infected:

Mousy went into the mall for shelter, unaware she was already turning infected due to exposure of fluids from the infected outside. She didn't set off any of the security protocols upon entry. 

After a few hours of hiding out in the mall, she started to realize she was turning infected. Not wanting to get killed by the security robot, Robby, she crawled into the vents since he couldn't reach in. 

A few days after turning into an infected, she left the vents, wanting to attack from outside. That made Robby attack her, slicing her legs off. He could've killed her, but the potion kept her alive and made her retreat back into the vents, not coming out again.
