Byul was waiting for her date. They have agreements to meet at the cafe outside the university after school. She gave Hyejin a note on her locker. She's having an erratic heartbeat while waiting. Her hands sweating but the person who stopped at her table was the class president. It's Solar. They were not friends nor enemies. They just dont like each other. She just thought.
Byul greeted her with a scornful look.
Please Solar not now dont ruined my Valentine's Date night. Byul muttered in her thoughts.
Byul was startled when Solar place the love letter on the table.
"Yah!! Moon Byul-Yi! You know what your cute but you're more annoying every time. Dont have high hopes that I'm going to date you-"
Solar can't finish her words when Byul pulled her close and sealed her lips. But not exactly on her lips Byul place her thumb between their lips. Then we heard a loud gasp. I tilt my head to see who is it and saw Seori's flustered face...
She's Byul's ex-girlfriend.
"You said you hate her why are you dating her now, huh?!" She snapped at us. I'm about to butt in and explained that it's a mistake but Byul keeps warning her.
"I finally know that I love her," Byul said which make Solar gasp in shock.
"Really?" Solar exclaimed at Byul while Seori gives them both stern looks.
Byul gets Solar hand and kisses the inner palm. Making the other startled by her gesture. Something Solar never expect she would feel inside. Her heart raced and beat erratically. But she can't help but think this is all Byul's charades. She's damn good at acting. She looks so in love with me. If only my eyes were not fooling me, I would fall for her.
"Baby... I love you... Happy Valentine's." Byul said staring directly at my orbs. I smiled awkwardly nodded and smoothly take back my hand from her. She smiled brightly and ushered me to sit.
I glanced at Seori's dignified exit. Maybe she gathered her mind not to cause a scene here at the cafe that was already full of customers.
When we both find Seori's presence was gone. Byul slack off on her seats and sighed in relief. I do the same feeling having the tension I was caught between them a while ago make me feel anxious about what's going to happen in the future on me. Knowing Seori as one of the popular IT girls in school.
"So what now?" Solar asked.
"What do you mean, what now?" Byul grin cunningly as she mistook what Solar is asking.
"Okay, What do you want? I'm sorry I can't stay here with you maybe my date was waiting for me outside. Here." Byul places a large amount of bills on the table.
Solar felt insulted. The nerve of this girl to bribe her after using her without her consent and without a word she stands and grad Byul wrist and as the other turn to look at her she gives Byul a hard slap on her left cheek. Making her frozen in her trance and anxious by the murmuring in their surroundings.
Byul gives her a furious gaze The hell with this girl slap her beautiful face. She glanced at the money. She gets her wallet and takes all the cash she had there.
"Is that enough now? You dont have to be drastic just to ask for more. If that is not enough text me your bank account and I'll wire you the money. Compensating for your lousy acting."
"Wahhh!! Lousy? Acting? You jerk! Your such an asshole to just kissed me to save your ass then I should be the one being thankful huh?!" Solar was getting enraged now.
