Hyejin POV
" Wheeinah, are you staying? we'll get going. I'll come with Eomma and sleep over at their house. Bye." I bid her goodbye, we visit my in-laws.
"Wait for me. Just wait for me. I'll be back." Wheein said she's my sister in law.
"Why? Aren't you staying?" I wondered why she was holding us waiting. I knew she had some friends dining on the other table and asking her to stay and join them drinking.
"Stay at my place for tonight."
"Huh? Why?" I asked dumber.
"Why? Do you have a room to stay there in Mom's House? Come with me. I'm just talking to someone, I said just wait here okay?" She said with finality in her voice. I find her dominant in nature. She's always Bossy but not the way like Narcissistic as it may say. She just wants to be on the lead and in control.
We're staying inside her car and no longer does she come back and drive us home to her place.
Hyein throws tantrums because of his deprived sleep.
"Hyein, are you hungry do you want something?" She asked staring at the little boy crying on the couch.
I got the little kid and changed her clothes and put him to sleep but the kid was still crying suddenly.
" Mamy, love(hug).... Mamy love(hug).... Mamyyyyy" Hyein said whining.
Wheein heard us both and scolded the kids for being grumpy.
"Hyein! You're big enough to whine like that. You should sleep on your own. If you're not gonna stop I'll take your Mom here beside me. She'll sleep here with me. Hmmp." Wheein said pretending to be mad so the kids stop her whining. But Hyein still whining softly. Snuggling me tight. Wheein grin seeing my all time struggle with my son as he's inseparable to me.
Wheein lay beside us and tried to remove Hyein hands. Making the kids gaze at her.
"What?" Wheein stared at him fiercely but held her laughter inside.
Hyein pout her lips on the verge of crying. Wheein finds it cute to annoy the little kid. Most of the time make him cry but console him later.
"Go turn around. I want to love(hug) Mommy. It's my turn. You're always stuck with her. Sometimes give your Mom a break. Go to sleep."
I get silent letting the two banter Hyein swatting her tita Wheein's hand as she keeps removing the kids arm from snuggling into me.
" I hate you." Hyein said.
" Huh?! I hate you too. I love(hug) mommy(Hyejin). I'll love Mommy go away. You sleep." The little one burst out from crying.
I chuckled these two always bantering before sleeping. That's why Hyein sometimes feels agitated with her. But I know the kid loves her tita so much.
Wheein spoiled the kids whenever they met. She brings her toys and buys her food. Treat the kids outside. Play in the arcade.
I know Wheein is just doing that because of her brother's lack. As Songhoon works abroad and he can just be with us once a year for vacation.
I just smiled and Wheein stood and lay on the other side of the bed. Kissing Hyein's head before the kids lulled to sleep.
"When will Oppah come back?"
She asked while scrolling on her phone.
I glanced at her and got silent.
"Maybe a few months from now." I said softly. Even though I missed him so much, I couldn't help but sometimes felt anxious and strange after meeting him again after a year or two. Now it takes us 3 years not seeing each other because of the pandemic.
