When he became intrigued with the young witch, he came to understand that the young Shelby girl was something much more then she let on.

For the first time in this new life, The Dark Lord was confused. Where was the Potter girl, what has happened to her, or better yet why did the old goat not know. These were the questions he had rushing through his mind as he looked over the new snakes only one in particular caught his attention. The Shelby girl. Now this was a strange mystery, he knew none of the Shelby men had ever been married, so how was she a daughter. Or was she their very younger little sister. These were questions he wanted answered.

But not yet.

So instead, he decided to send Nagini out into the hall, scope the new snakes, learn some things. And he wasn't shy to say he wanted them to fear him just a little, seeing how they were all in the know of who he really was. Except the young Shelby girl. He did wonder how she would react.

"Nagini, go introduce yourself." Tom ordered, hearing the hissing laugh, his familiar gliding along the floor. "Go for the Shelby girl." He finished, he saw the looks he was getting from Snape, but he ignored him, he wanted to see her reaction, he didn't want to miss it at all.

Morgan was quite happy to eat in silence, thankful that everyone was talking amongst themselves and not questioning her, oh how it will piss her off if they start questioning her. She was a Shelby, no one questioned her. Draco of course would speak with her, ask her about her trip to Ollivanders for a wand, and the answer she gave made the table go silent. "I didn't get my wand from Ollivanders, my family made it for me." She said smiling. "The Shelby family have never really trusted outsiders, so we had to make do with our own skills, my Uncles and papa are very skilled men, in many things magic." Morgan stated.

"So what is your wand made of?" Daphne Greengrass questioned.

Morgan hummed softly. "You know, I'm not quite sure, it's like a guessing game for me, but I do know there are three main cores in my wand, the wood Black Walnut, less common than the standard walnut wand, that of black walnut seeks a master of good instincts and powerful insight. Black walnut is a very handsome wood, but not the easiest to master." Morgan stated. "But I've mastered it already, the heavy wards in our home protect me from the Ministry, and the fact that my papa refused to have the trace placed on my wand, the Minister was all for agreeing with him." Morgan giggled, letting them see a small glimpse of just our powerful she was. How powerful her family are.

'Well, this is interesting.' The hissy voice questioned. The young first years froze only hearing the hissing, not the words, unlike young Morgan Shelby, who turned to face the snake. Morgan saw her green scales glistening under the torch light, her dark eyes glaring into her own.
