Time, to learn, time to teach. Oh, how they begged, to be taught by this witch.
*********************************************************************
The group of Slytherin's calmly made their way down to Hogsmead, it was a beautiful day, with the leaves falling to the ground, in their festive autumn colours. Morgan and Finn, lead the group through the bustling crowds, both with smiles on their faces, see Morgan wanted to do the little DA club again, she after all did enjoy teaching. But Umbridge was still a pain in the ass, the woman still refusing to teach others, that many of them begged to join them, begged to be taught by here. Pleading their case to her, needing some form of education.
And oh, how she loved when they begged. Pleaded with her, she just couldn't deny them.
"Where are we going, Morgan, Finn?" Draco asked the twins, as the two continue to lead their group on, with a few more turns they came to a slightly seedy looking pub.
"There we are." Morgan said with a grin.
"You've brought us to the Hog's Head?" Blaise questioned the girl, as Morgan then leads them inside.
"Come on, we'll explain in a minute." Finn said leaving the door open for their group. The group of teens step inside the pub. It is grimy and ill-lit, many shady witches and wizards sit uneasily in corners. Morgan and Finn were nonchalant about it all, while the rest of their group were a bit wary, as they should be, but not with Finn and Morgan around.
The group were surprised when they saw in one corner by the front window that was populated by Deam Thomas, Neville Longbottom, Lavender Brown, Parvati and Padma Patil, Cho Change (who still looked at Morgan with adoration), Cedric Diggory, Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Angelina Johnson, Colin and Dennis Creevey, Ernie MacMillian, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abbott, Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner, Terry Boot, Lee Jordan, Zacharias Smith, and Susan Bones.
Morgan and Finn's group of friends were incredibly curious, Luna though, she had a beautiful all-knowing smile on her face. "Morgan, Finn, what's going on?" Blaise asked the twins.
Finn smirked, "these are some of the people who came to myself and Morgan, and what to be truly taught Defence Against the Dark Arts."
The group let out collective agreements before sitting with the growing group.
The group let out collective agreements before sitting with the growing group.
"Welcome everyone," Morgan started smiling at them all, a kind and sweet smile on her face. "I thought it would be best that we met and talked over how we wanted to teach ourselves D.A.D.A." She started as she looked over everyone, captivating them. "Because we need to learn it properly, not the rubbish that pink toad is doing." She scoffed.
"Hear, hear!" Fred and George called out, holding Butterbeers high in the air.
Morgan smirked at them, "obviously, this will help you all pass the O.W.L.S, but more importantly, it gives us the ability to protect ourselves in the near future."
The group all murmured in agreement, "Well, anyway, I think that in order to learn properly we'll need to teach you from the start, but first, we need to know where to teach you all." Finn spoke, looking at the group, wanting suggestions. They would use the Chamber of Secrets, but Morgan wasn't willing to allow them in their group's safety spot.
"What about an unused classroom?" Neville questioned.
"That might work. I'll look into that." Draco said as the twins nodded.
"So, all in favor of taking lessons from Morgan and Finn?" Fred called out, his hand already in the air, along with the Slytherins and Luna.
Neville, Dean, lee, Katie, Alicia, Angelina, and Susan raise their hands. Then, after a moment, the rest raise theirs as well.
"Ok, good." Pansy says, as she pulls a parchment out of her bag. "I think we should put our names down, so we know who was here." Pansy states, suddenly people look uncomfortable. Pansy rolls her eyes. "Honestly, do you think I'd just leave it lying around? Besides, I've enchanted it, Morgan and Finn have a map that insults people who try to gaze upon it, this will do the same." Pansy explains.
"Should we call it something?" Colin asks sweetly.
Morgan smiles. "Good idea Colin, I'm thinking it needs to be something that doesn't give away what we are doing."
Finn smirks. "How about, 'The Knights of Hogwarts,' we are all going to be doing something like the knights of old, we follow their code of conduct, we show bravery, strength and skill in battle, to respect women, to defend the weak and the poor, to be generous to others and loyal to our school our family and our friends."
Everyone had looks of awe, Morgan smiled seeing those looks, before her were people she had seen die in the battle, children, all of them. She had seen Fred laying in the Great Hall, as she waited for him to pop up and say it was all a prank, but he never did. Colin the boy who looked up to her in her first life, dying to protect their home. Lavender being mulled by a werewolf, her eyes blank. Seeing all of them alive, it was a blessing.
But now, now she was making sure they all lived, the first step was already complete, with Tom being Tom. Gathering people onto her side, even if she wasn't using the Potter name, because she wasn't her anymore, she was Morgan Shelby, a true warrior now.
"Alright then, we'll let you know when we're going to meet, and where we will be practicing, learning." Finn says to the group as they all leave, laughing and chatting. The Slytherin's and Luna remained inside the Hogshead, all sitting down, and making their own plans. Morgan had her back to the figure that she knew was Sirius Black, and so she lifted her hand, as a sickly green aura surrounded her hand, she quickly sent it up in the air, throwing it towards him. She smirked as the group watched his form slump on the bar.
"Sirius is wanting to listen in, so I'm simply taking what he heard away from him." Morgan said to the questioning looks. The group shrugged and went back to what they were originally doing, including watching as Sirius was chucked out, being 'drunk' and all. "Okay, we should head back now."
They all stood and headed back to Hogwarts, ready for the knights of Hogwarts to become something more.
