When she came home. But it turned into nothing more then the place to learn. Knowing that her home was with her true family.

As the sun began to disappear behind the rolling hills of the Scottish isle, Morgan knew their approach was closer then ever. This is when the nerves set in, the fear, the sounds from the war come crashing down onto her, the smells of the burning castle, the feeling of pain ripping through her body when Voldemort fell to his knees dead, and the worst of it all... the betrayal. Her murder. Her own friends killing her, and the old goat coming forward, showing himself to the world to be alive. Spouting lies, calling her the new Dark Lady.
And he would pay.
Morgan was thankful that the Weasley boy hadn't come near their compartment. Or else she would have used a spell her Uncle Johnny taught her, and then the plan would have come crashing down around her. She was annoyed though when Granger came barrelling into their compartment jabbering on about Neville's toad, the poor boy looking at the four with embarrassment because of the girl, and just to spite the Granger girl, Morgan brought out her wand, and performed the accio spell. Retrieving the lost pet.
Neville thanked the girl, praising her magical prowess.
Morgan waved off the thanks, as he left, with a stewing Granger behind him. But the boy didn't care at all. Draco, Goyle, and Crabbe laughed as they watched the scene in front of them, they too praising the Shelby girl. The rest of the train ride though was peaceful, Morgan connecting with the boys, creating another friendship, another family. Her Hogwarts family
When the train pulled to a stop, Morgan looked into the dark sky seeing the lights that would lead the older students to the carriages. The train blows its whistle and pulls into the station. Students, in their robes, begin pouring out of the train. Morgan with Draco, Goyle, and Crabbe right behind her. Of course the two goons stood behind herself and Draco, only because of how high their family was in the Magical World.
Looking to her left Morgan saw someone she cared deeply for in her first life, Hagrid the half-giant, with a lantern in his hand. She wanted to call out to him in happiness but, he didn't know her this time. And that hurt.
Soon the giant man calls out through the chattering students. "Right, then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up!"
Approaching the half-giant Morgan stayed close to her new friends. But she felt someone's eyes on her, looking behind her, she smiles cheekily at the people spying on her. With a small wave to the Devil Twins, she returns her attention back to Hagrid. The twins grinning as they see their little Bambi, now the fun begins.
"Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Hagrid calls order to everyone. Following the half-giant, he tells all the first-years four to a boat. And being the gentleman he is, Draco helped Morgan into the boat. Letting her take one of the front seats, with himself beside her.
Once everyone sat peacefully in the boats, they start plugging across a vast lake, where up ahead a huge castle, known as the Hogwarts Castle, can be seen. People are in awe. But Morgan sees it in a different awe to the others around her, a lone tear slips down her face as she remembers the burning ruins, she swipes the tear away quickly not letting a single soul see it. After letting her emotions showcase themselves for but a moment she felt her face go blank, not a single speck of emotion was seen on her porcelain skin.
Her papa would be impressed and proud of her acting skills. Her Auntie Love would be cackling, but she would be filled with pride, after all Aphrodite was an exceptional actress. Well that's what Morgan had her believing. She really didn't want the wrath of Aphrodite on her ass.
As they continue on further towards the castle. Morgan turned her face as they started to disembark their tiny boats, walking up the stairs to the great castle, her once home away from home, but it was now just a school. Her home was with her papa, and maybe with time, her soulmate would be her new home.
Though nothing could compare to the love she had for her papa, her saviour.
Walking up the flight of stairs, Morgan for a moment wondered if she was truly ready for this as they crowded around the huge, oak front door. "Everyone here?" Hagrid asked, when he heard no one saying that someone was missing, he raised a gigantic fist and knocked three times on the castle door.
And just like the damn first time the door swung open at once. A tall, black-haired witch in emerald-green robes stood there. Her face stern, Morgan couldn't help but smile softly seeing Professor McGonagall, the one teacher to believe in her the most. Of course there had been times she failed her, such as the Umbridge year, but Morgan couldn't help but think that maybe, she too was under many of Dumbledore's influence.
"The firs' years, Professor McGonagall," said Hagrid.
"Thank you, Hagrid. I will take them from here." She pulled the door wide. The entrance hall was so big but not as big as the Shelby homes ball room, the many dance parties she held with her family, dancing with her Auntie Love, performing on the piano with her papa, and the many games she played with Micah. The boy teaching her all the childish games he could.
Looking at the stone walls with the flaming torches like the ones at Gringotts, the ceiling was too high to make out, and a magnificent marble staircase facing them led to the upper floors. Everyone followed Professor McGonagall across the flagged stone floor. Morgan heard the droning noise of hundreds of voices from a doorway to the right the rest of the school waiting for the newcomers. Waiting to see if Morgan Potter would be joining them this year.
But before they all went inside the Great Hall Professor McGonagall showed the first years into a small, empty chamber off the hall. Crowding into the room Morgan remembered the first time all of them standing rather closer together than they would usually have done, peering about nervously. And she couldn't help but hide a giggle behind her hand, seeing Draco's discomfort. She of course was not thrilled either, but a certain spirit was influencing her emotions. A new gift to Micah from her papa.
"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory, and spend free time in your house common room." She started looking over everyone. Morgan and Draco gave each other glances, both knowing that they would not cross the woman in front of them, not even if they weren't in her house.
"The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history, and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." She continued, telling them all about the houses.
"The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting." Professor McGonagall finished looking over all the students.
"I shall return when we are ready for you," said Professor McGonagall. "Please wait quietly." She left the chamber.
This time Morgan knew she would not be in the house of lions, no this time... This time she was going to let the hat place her in Slytherin, because that was where she belongs.
