Nanakbo ako palabas ng dorm bitbit ang suklay at ang maliit na back pack ko dahil kanina pa nag-iintay si Avery sa baba. Nauna kasing pumunta bago sabihin na ngayon daw pala ang date namin. Napaka.
"Good morning! Coffee?!" he greeted delightfully. He's watching me panicked and he, for sure, is enjoying how i am looking so frustrated early in the morning. This jerk.
"Happy?" Naiiritang tanong ko habang inaabot ang kape. I don't like coffee but since maaga akong ginising, tingin ko kailangan.
He nodded like a kid
"Jerk. You know how I hate unplanned ganaps" maarte kong sabi
"I know, that is why I have a list of what we have to do today." He showed me the list on his phone. I was about to check it but he turned it off.
"What?" I snorted
"Don't worry everything is planned. All you have to do today is be with me and enjoy. "
Very cliche but still. Well, at least he has plans. Kinuha ko ang listahan ko ng to- do's for today at pinilas yun. I throw it sa bin ng car niya.
"What was that?" He looked at me smiling for seconds and started the engine.
"Because you told me that all I have to do today is be with you and enjoy." I answered and press the play button on his radio.
I looked at him and he was just smiling and vibing.
I tap my bag to join the vibe. Dumaan kami sa drive tru ng McDonald's
"Good day, sir! Welcome to McDonald's drive thru"
"Good morning! 1 deluxe spicy crispy chicken and a sprite for my drinks and for my girlfriend, do you want to have rice or what do you want for breakfast?" He looked at me na natatawa-tawa
"Did you just call me, your girlfriend?" Natatawa ko ring pang-aasar, tinatago ang kilig
"Just order something" he said, looking away but still wearing that silly smile. Now acting so shy
I looked at the staff and says, "The same order as my boyfriend's" nilagyan ko ng diin yung my boyfriend kaya naman tawang-tawa rin si Avery.
Natawa rin si ate crew mukhang naiintindihan niyang naglolokohan lang kami, too bad
"Do you think, we look good together?" Avery asked the crew
"Opo, sir! Bagay na bagay! Ay! Baka po gusto niyo magpapicture with our frame"
Nilabas ni ate crew yung frame nila na may nakasulat na 'with you I always feel safe and full'
Nilingon namin kung may kasunod kaming sasakyan, fortunately, wala naman. We took a photo
"Enjoy your meal, sir and ma'am!" Nakangiting sabi ni ate na mukhang mas kinilig pa sa akin. Cute
"Hey girlfriend, can you please help me eat while I'm driving so we can make it on time sa mass" Avery said, eyes focus on the road
"You're really taking the best on this date, huh?!" Then we laughed
Binuksan ko ang burger niya and feed him while his driving. Right now, I really felt like we're on a relationship. Maybe, i'll just enjoy this day.
We make it on time sa mass. Tho, nasa likod kami at nakatayo na lang dahil puno na ang mga upuan. Tahimik kami parehong nakikinig sa homily. Pagdating sa part ng ama namin, inasar na naman ako ni Avery
"Girlfriend, i'm not making a hokage moves, just have to hold your hand"
" You can just clasp your hands" I whispered, oh God, sorry for flirting during your time
