Karl sat under a tree on a hill overlooking a ruined town, the tree provided shade from the excruciating weather. He reread his memories, waiting for the two other people who were taking forever "Why the fuck is it so hot" Sapnap complained as the two stepped through the portal.

" Because global warming, now come along you two took forever" Karl shut his journal with a sharp snap, he rose from the cool grass and wiped off the dirt from his legs.
"There's a village down there there's a problem we need to figure out and solve then we'll be on our way" Karl made his way to the village.

"I have so many questions" Sapnap jogged along Karl trying to keep up with his long strides "One, how did our outfits change and how do you know?"

Karl sighed, clearly they've never time traveled before and it irritated him, he just wanted to get this over with and go back home  "Have you ever read the magic treehouse? " He said as they walked along.

"Of course, I did when I was a kid" He looked over to Karl who kept his fast pace.

"Well, it's exactly like that." Karl explained shielding his face from the sun with the book

"You can't be dressed in what you usually wear. this is a different time you have to dress in what they would wear, and like I've said for the millionth time now, I'm a time traveler I just know the same scenario every time, find the problem, find the villain and get to the end."

The Village before them was completely deserted, the only thing that could be heard was the whistling of the wind and the occasional bird

" This doesn't look good" Quackity muttered and looked into the ruins of a burnt-down house

" I don't understand there's usually people here" Karl looked around at the abandoned village then to the giant castle sat upon a hill. "There" he pointed to it "we have to go there"

¨ "Are you sure Karl? It looks abandoned too?" Sapnap picked up a lonely doll that was on the ground and pocketed it

"It won't hurt to try" The trio made it to the huge Castle and it too was abandoned

"HELLOOOOOOOOOO" Karl called out his voice echoing, he got no response
He turned to the other two "Split up look around for anything that could be of use"

"Are you insane? That's horror movie 101 do not split up" Sapnap looked down the long dark hallways with uncertainty.

" Well lucky for us this isn't a horror movie, It's real fucking life you goof, if you're that scared of being alone just go with Q" Karl left in his own direction. He stumbled into a ballroom and the chandelier was broken into a million pieces on the floor. Sunlight fought its way into the dark room, the rays of light illuminatiPhil's crystals and covering the room in a million rainbows. It was stunning to look at. Karl bent down and examined the crystals how the chandelier fell; he had no clue and he didn't want to know. He heard footsteps approaching him. quickly he spun around and no one was there.

"Sapnap? Is that you?"  he asked no one. He got no reply. Across the room a chair fell over he jumped at the sound his heart racing faster.

"Quackity?" Karl asked, more desperate and scared now. Praying to any god he could. Maybe Sapnap was right. This was a horror movie and he was about to be the first one to go.

"BOO" He felt someone yell from behind him. Karl let out a scream and turned around as fast as he could. He could feel his heart in his mouth. Standing before him was a Piglin kid with long pink hair in a single braid down his back, a shiny golden crown atop his head, and  a monarch robe draped around his shoulders. The little piglin held a wooden sword and pointed it at Karl.
