Note: this event happened after they got out of the killing game simulation, but the chapter will start on a week before valentine’s day.

1 WEEK BEFORE VALENTINES
SHUICHI’S POV:

Its around lunch time already, and Y/N will be busy around this time to hang around with her other friends since she hasnt spent time with them ever since we started dating, so she wont be able to be with me during lunch.

Im just in my homeroom class, finished buying food from the cafeteria, i used my own money this time- promise- i still need to pay Y/N back for asking her for money though. And just as i was about to eat, the homeroom door open and i looked over to see my old friends. “Hey Shuichi! Thought you’ll be with your girlfriend!” my friend said.

Apparently they stopped being friends with me as they heard the nasty rumors about me, so i never gotten in contact with them for how many weeks and months already. Ever since me and Y/N came back to the real world, she started to help me by reuniting with my old friends, finding a job, pay my rents, and makes sure to spend time with me.

“Ah about that.. I let her spend time with her friends for now..” i said as they got extra chairs and sat near my seat “ohhh so youre not *that* kind of boyfriend!” my second friend teases me, i immediately panicked “o-of course im not!! Im not that kind of person..” i defended, they just let out a small giggle and my first friend patted my back “of course youre not, were just teasing you! Sorry about that bro” he said, patted my head.

“Well that down.. Have you planned anything for valentines yet?” my third friend asked me, my eyes widened when he mentioned that “u-uhm…”. I cant believe i havent planned anything yet! What kind of boyfriend am i if i keep forgetting those.. “Let me guess.. You havent yet, didnt you?” my second friend said, i just sighed in defeat and nodded “y-yeah..” i sighed and just sadly took a bite on the teriyaki that i just ordered from the cafeteria. “Hey man, dont be down! You always put yourself down like that!” my first friend tried to cheer me up “sorry about that, im just disappointed at myself for that..” i said, i felt a pat on my back so i looked up “then we will help! We have a week before valentines so we have time!” my third friend said, the other too agreed with him.

As much as i want to disagree, i kinda also appreciated that theyll help me to get everything planned and ready for valentines. I just sighed and smiled, nodding at them “thanks you guys..” i said to them “there’s that smile that has been hiding!” my friend said, we all just laughed at it. “Well since you agreed, lets start a plan right now! Doesnt hurt to plan early” my third friend said “well.. Sure..” i just awkwardly agreed to them.

We spend the whole lunch time making plans for me and Y/N’s valentines day.

Y/N’S POV:

“Aaand he broke up with me” my gal friend said, telling us how she broke up with her boyfriend. “jeez girl, you already have like… 4 exes already” my other gal friend said “make the recent one five, talk about depressing” my guy friend said “fuck you [name]! Dont forget that you just got dumped by that cheerleader girl a few months back!” she shouted at him “dont remind me that!” he shouted back, and now the two of them started fighting once again.
