After going through the statements of neighbours and a few friends, Jun's girlfriend was called for interrogation. Zoe James, the name came forward a few times while the police were investigating so they called her in. Jungkook asked Hoseok to question her since he had some more digging to do. Hoseok agreed to do it.
"So Ms. Zoe, do you know who Jun is?" Hoseok started with the simplest question.
"O..of course s..sir" she stuttered. Cold sweat dripped from behind her ear as Hoseok's piercing gaze fell over her.
"Very well. And you had given him a death threat if I recall correctly?" Hoseok looked into her eyes, making her cower under his gaze. Intimidating enough to make her tremble in fear.
"Sir...No it's not... I.." she stuttered more. Her voice wavered under Hoseok's gaze.
"Yes or No!" He sternly asked. She nodded immediately "I did... but I didn't kill him sir!" Zoe started whimpering.
"I never said you did. But we doubt so." Hoseok leaned back on the chair crossing his arms, waiting for her to continue her previous statement.
"I said that out of anger" she said looking down at her hands. Hoseok tilted his head, waiting for her to continue.
"What girl would be on cloud nine after finding out that her boyfriend is cheating on her? Would you be happy if your girlfriend does it? Won't you be fuming? Won't you feel like shit!?" She slammed her hands on the table and shouted right on Hoseok's face.
"I won't be, but this is not about me. So, let's not drag my love life here" Hoseok was getting furious over Zoe's statement. She flinched at his harsh words and continued telling them everything.

"Angry girlfriends are indeed fatal. Like a hungry monster" Jungkook commented and chuckled after Zoe left the cell.
Now, it was Maeve's mothers' turn for the questioning. Officers were not letting anyone or anything go out of their hands to find this psycho killer. They couldn't risk it. They decided to interrogate each and every person these people were acquainted with.
"Mrs. Poarch, how was your relationship with your daughter?" Jungkook questioned the lady.
"What does it have to do with her murder!?" She stated in a matter of fact-ly tone.
"We are trying our best to find the culprit. Every little piece of information is important to us. We never know what can take us to the killer so I hope you will understand and cooperate with us" Hoseok explained to the angry lady.
"She was a sweet girl and of course I loved her. She was always brilliant in her studies. I had always praised her and groomed her for inheriting and leading my business in the near future. She was my only daughter so I wanted her to become the CEO of my company." She extended her statement.
"Was she ready for it though?" Jungkook questioned whilst noting down the information they were getting.
"No. She didn't want to become one from the start. But I always tried to convince her. Recently, she suddenly had this weird and crazy interest in being a barmaid." Her words were full of disgust as if being a barmaid was the lowest job someone could opt for.
"Why so?" This piqued Hoseok's interest.
"A few months ago, I had a meeting. I asked her to accompany me and out of will, she did. There she met this boy, Cole. That bartender guy. His skills were amazing. I'll appreciate that. But because of that Maeve suddenly got very interested in being a barmaid. She wanted to be as good and cool as him. That one guy destroyed all my plans and spoiled my girl so badly!" Mrs. Veronica took a deep breath, taking a break from her lashing-out-session.
