As the day continued on, Yeongja, still utterly terrified of everything and everyone around her, could say that she was successfully surviving.

She mostly kept her head down, read her books and did her work.

Her day was mostly quiet, to her surprise.

Until it wasn't.

Yeongja noticed as the pencil that laid on the now vacant desk began to roll and hit the floor with a soft clatter.

She waited until most people passed her and the empty desk, before she quickly made her way to the fallen pencil.

After retrieving it, the pink haired girl quickly made her way towards the boy it belonged to before he could exit the class room.

Yeongja hesitanly gave the boy a quick tap with her finger, "Um, excuse me. I think you dropped thi-"

"Why are you talking to me?" Lee Suho said in a harsh tone as he spun around to face the girl, and Yeongja gulped, "You dropped your pencil." The Kim girl said quickly, shoving the boy's pencil in his hand, and rushing past him.

I guess not everyone here is decent. That guy's scary. Yeongja thought with a shiver.

And as she walked toward the cafeteria she heard someone call out to her, "Yah! Kim Yeongja!" Oh, God, not another person.

Maybe if I just keep walking- "Kim Yeongja!" Guess not. "Huh?" Yeongja said softly and as she turned around she saw Soojin walking toward her.

"Oh. Uh...hi." The Kim girl said softly as Soojin neared, raising a hand to wave at her.

She doesn't look too happy.

"Um, did you want someth-" Yeongja started but was cut off.

"What do you think about Sua?" Soojin interrupted as she came to a stop infront of the other girl.

Yeongja's eyebrows furrowed together, "Uh, I...I'm-"

"Do you want to be friends with her or not?" Soojin continued to question.

Yeongja could feel eyes on her from the people that walked passed, and she slowly felt herself start shrink.

"Well, I...I don't know." The girl muttered as she lowered her eyes to floor.
