The moment Yeongja had closed the door behind her, the big smile that she had worn on her face vanished.

While she wasn't completely upset, but she wasn't not upset.

Thanks to Daeun she felt better than when she had first woke up, but she was still upset.

The Kim girl was extremely glad that she hadn't hurt the older woman's feelings, at least not a lot, but she was still confused. Still sad, maybe a little angry, still...unsure.

She wondered if there was a way to get out of the situation she was in.

With the way that her mother talked last night, she didn't really think so.

Yeongja loved her mother. However, there were times were she wish she wasn't. Her mother, that is. Or wish she wasn't the way she was. She wished she, herself, wasn't the way that she was more, though.

Maybe if I were more...just more, things would be better.

Mom just wants what's best, though.

Yeongja looked down at the apple that she carried. She was hungry. In the last few days, the pink haired girl doesn't think she ate more the a plate's worth of food.

It's just fruit and...I love fruit.

Yeongja glanced up to make sure she wasn't about to run into anything or anyone and when she did, she spotted a trashcan.

The closer she got to it, the Kim girl went back and forth in her head, deciding whether or not to eat the apple or to toss it.

A decision still wasn't made and she wasn't that far away from the trash.

It's just fruit. And it's healthy. Daeun said so. Yeongja thought, it's just fruit and it's healthy, she repeated and she continue to say this like a mantra as she got closer and closer to the bin.

And soon she was hovering over it.
