Though Yeongja had survived her first day of school and was obviously happy about it, that happy feeling soon went away when realizing her mother had wanted her to catch the bus home, because "that's what normal high school students do".

Yeongja contemplated asking someone for directions to the bus stop as she quickly made her way to the school's exit, weaving in between kids.

And once she had gotten outside, the Kim girl let out a big breath. Free at last, she thought in relief.

Yeongja sighed as she started walking away from the school, hoping that she wouldn't have to ever return here again.

Though, that was a fat chance.

Why can't today be enough?

Yeongja knew that there would be more days like this, because pleading with her mother was completely useless.

No matter how much she begged her mother, and she had begged, Yeongja knew that tomorrow and the rest of this week would be just like today. That realization had set in after the phone call earlier.

But still, she had hoped.

Maybe when I get home, Mom will feel bad and hug me and tell me that throwing me into the world again was a mistake and I won't have to come back here again.

Mom did say that this would make her happy, though...

The more the pink haired girl thought about it she felt torn between doing what her mother wnated and doing what she wanted.

And the more she imagine how the rest of the week would go being in school, and outside of her home as a whole, the sicker she felt.

"I'm not made for this," Yeongja began as she started to mutter to herself, "For any of it. School, friends, group projects about poets...or models, I don't know. I'm just not made for the world." Yeongja said, sadness written in her tone.

Yeongja walked and walked, lost in thought as she look down at feet, stepping one in front of the other. It wasn't until she heard her name being called that she finally looked up.
