The next day, Yeongja found it quite hard to get out of bed. This was nothing new, but today just so happened to be one of those really bad days.

Of course, Yeongja saw that coming before she went to bed last night.

She didn't want to have to go to school.

She didn't want to have to go outside.

She didn't want to see her parents — if they were even home — this morning.

She didn't want to see Daeun. Especially after being rude to her last night.

Yeongja didn't want to do anything.

As she pushed herself into a sitting position, Yeongja thought back to her mother's words. The words were she mentioned letting the pink haired girl get away with things, and Yeongja knew that if  she didn't have a choice before, she definitely doesn't have one now.

Yeongja wished she had cherished her time in that year where everything was okay, for the most.

She definitely would have if she knew life would be like this again.

Her mother had said some stern things to her before, but her voice when she talked to Yeongja last night, well it was different.

Or rather, a stranger.

It was a voice Yeongja hadn't heard in a while.

It gave the girl chills so much so that she was scared to even think about not obeying her mother.

So highly reluctant, Yeongja dragged herself from her bed and began to get ready for school.

After gathering everything needed for the day, Yeongja slowly creeped downstairs.

Her plan was to skip breakfast in order to avoid Daeun and/or her parents.

Said plan failed.

"Yeongja." The Kim girl heard a familiar voice call, but that didn't stop her as she continued to quietly creep down the steps.
