You thought it was a joke or maybe a surprise or something, surely he didn't forget. Did he? What you on about of course he did- he forgot valentine's day! It was 5pm on valentine's day as you was alone on the sofa watching soppy romance films as you arrived at your pity party feeling sorry for yourself that you was spending this day alone while your friend's boyfriends was taking them out to a lovely romantic meal. While you was left by your boyfriend to hang out with some of the boys. Wow, not like you didn't bring it up or anything multiple times.

"Hey baby are you going to wake up soon I could make us breakfast or we could lay and cuddle while watching a movie before you go to training? You asked wanting to have a nice romantic valentine's morning with him
"5 more minutes" he groaned sinking his head further into the pillow causing you to laugh as Kostas is not a morning person by a long shot so you decided to let him have a sleep in while you made breakfast.
You saw this cute Valentine breakfast on Pinterest with heart shaped pancakes and all the toppings so decided to do this as it was Kostas' favourite was pancakes.
"Hey baby what you making" Kostas asked snaking his arms around you waist leaving small kisses along your neck and shoulder
"Pancakes your favourite" you smiled
"Mm I am one lucky man, want some help" Kostas offered
"No it's ok their nearly done if you want to sit down at the table."
"Ok, wow babe this is erm lovely what's going on" Kostas laughed as he admired the kitchen table setup with a red table cloth, heart confetti dusted around, a big bunch of red roses in the middle and mimosa's around the cutlery in valentine champagne glasses.
"Are you serious" you laughed thinking this was a joke as he pretended on your birthday he forgot but surprised you later on, you thinking he was doing the same thing.
"Wait it's not are anniversary it is it?" Kostas asked looking worried
"No that's next month" you said causing Kostas to breathe a sigh of relief
"Thank god I thought I forgot something important" he laughed as he began eating his breakfast

"Ok so I thought I could pick you up from training and we could go out for a movie or something then we could go out for a nice meal later on? or we could do something else if you want?" you said as you began clearing the dining table away
"Oh erm well I actually have plans tonight I said I would go out with some of the boys tonight."
"Your joking right"
"what"
"Can't you cancel or rearrange I know today's not important for a lot of people but-"
"Omg y/n will you stop being so clingy ok if I want to go out for a boys night then I will I don't need permission your not my mum ok just leave it their"
"Clingy" you laughed
"I just wanted to spend some time with you today?"
"What Is so important about today that means I have to put you before all of my friends god y/n I do that every night fuck that everyday can't I just have one night alone without you causing some sort of drama." Kostas staid beginning to shout
"Wow you forgot" you laughed although you didn't find this funny It broke you heart it's not even just because he forgot that that would of hurt you but not this kind of pain this was caused by him making out like your some big problem in his life like your restricting him from his freedom. Not only did he forget valentine's day but it was your first one together and that was special to you some people may think you was overreacting but this was so special to you. You had being planning this for weeks.
"Oh do you know what I have had enough of you and your riddles I'm off to training" Kostas said and with that he was gone.

So hear you was watching the notebook for the 17th time eating your feelings away with chocolates you bought yourself cuddling a teddy you bought yourself. God anyone would think your single. Well that was until Kostas came barging through the door earlier than planned considering he was going out with the boys tonight after training and it had only just gone 5pm
"Omg baby I'm so sorry for this morning and forgetting about today. It slipped my mind. These are for you" Kostas said handing you a beautiful bunch of flowers but instead of taking them you got up of the sofa and walked past him into your bedroom locking the door behind you.
"Baby please come on open I'm so so sorry I didn't realise till literally an hour ago when the boys mentioned it please let me make this up to you" Kostas pleaded as he stood outside both yours bedroom door
"Just go away please, I just want some time to myself" You said in-between your sob's
Kostas' heart was breaking knowing he was the reason for you being this upset. What made his heart ache more was everything he said at breakfast even if it wasn't a special day he still shouldn't of spoken to you like that and he knows it.

"Darling I have left some dinner outside the door, when your ready please come and speak to me I will stay in the guest room tonight I love you" Kostas said
As you opened the door you saw your favourite dinner that he had obviously cooked along with a note on the side.
'Hey,
I understand your angry I would be too the way I spoke for you was unfair and wrong. Please understand this wasn't intentional or me being ignorant I just simply forgot I have being so caught up in my own life to forget what matters most - you. As for the comments I made earlier I didn't mean them in fact I feel lucky that I have someone as amazing as you to come home to every night and wake up to every morning. I put you first not because I have too but because you the most important person in my life for now and in our future. Your going to be my wife one day, the mother to my children I need to find some other way to talk than shouting at you, you don't deserve it. You deserve the world. I promise you I will fix this please let me try I love you so so much. Happy valentine's my love

"Hi, thankyou for dinner it was really nice" You smiled as you walked into the lounge
"It's fine, look I'm-" Kostas began to speak before you interrupted
"It's ok I forgive you, I read the note" you smiled
"I really am sorry y/n I feel so guilty"
"It's fine it just hurt more you making me think I was a burden to you" you smiled weakly
"Come here please" the Greek sympathetically smiled at you and with that you laid in his arms
"I promise you loving you it's not a burden it's a blessing I get to have you by my side everyday, I promised you months ago when you became mine that I wouldn't let anyone hurt you but I was the one who hurt you and that's what I can't forgive myself for. I am supposed to be the one to protect you and I was the one who hurt you" Kostas said as his voice broke and a tear rolling down his cheek. As he stroked your cheek"
"Baby it's fine"
"No it's not fine" Kostas said holding you tighter scared you was going to go again
"Look at me, I'm not going anywhere, theirs no point in beating yourself up about it we can't change it let's just forgive and forget. I promise you we are ok" You reassured him
"God I'm so lucky to have you, I will make this right"
