I knew the howling must have come from some of the old Royal Guards, all three of the dogs had guarded the outskirts of Snowdin so I had no doubt at least one of them had survived. Logically thinking it would probably be Greater Dog, he was the biggest. But then again, Doggo has daggers and Lesser Dog had a sword and shield, so maybe they had also survived. After the first howl, another further back towards Frozen Snowdin returned it but it was louder, and throatier. A third howl came from along the river somewhere, I suddenly felt very uncomfortable, like eyes were watching me from all sides. I slowly lifted my hand and spun in a slow circle, using magic to try and pinpoint any nearby souls, my eye flickered and went out again.

"Ugh." I growled softly and waited until it flickered back on.

I softly mumbled to myself as I finished the search, no souls had been detected in about a 100 yard radius. I hefted my axe onto my shoulder, holding it tight in my right hand and kept walking, trying to stay behind trees instead of out in the open. The howling continued, occasionally they would pause and then the tone would change. They were communicating. I scoffed, eye glowing brighter as I reached up my left hand again, scanning the area again until my magic locked on a soul. I felt a grin spread across my face.

 "Finally." I whispered.

I froze it in place and walked towards it, hearing some scruffing and the sound of someone panicking. I walked into a small opening within the forest, a person suspended a couple feet off the ground, struggling.

"It's not safe to be alone out here pal. Shouldn't you know that by now?" I chuckled, walking around to see their face but stopped dead in my tracks.

They blinked, looking down at me.

"F-Frisk?" I softly mumbled, staring at the human.
