The artist was consumed by inspiration ever since it struck him that night the shooting star ripped across the nighttime sky. He was obsessed, sculpting, sketching, planning, fine tuning. He wanted to make it perfect. To him, making this sculpture any less than what he dreamed would be a crime. The man of his dreams deserved the best.

When he worked, he worked carefully, like he was working with a living being rather than clay. He would talk to the sculpture as he talked, telling it about his day, his hopes and dreams. It was therapeutic, having something to listen to. However, to Jungkook, the sculpture felt more like a someone.

Jungkook was busy polishing the sculpture as his dog kept on licking his feet. He glanced down at Bam and said, "Bam, let me finish this first, and I'll feed you."

Bam rested on his feet, and Jungkook smiled and continued his work.

The teen found himself falling in love with the sculpture, already enamored by its looks. He daydreamed about what the sculpture's personality would be like if it was a person. Would he be gentle? Would he be funny? Cute? Loving?

Oh, how Jungkook wished he could find out.

After another meticulous hour, he finally finished sculpting. It took him a few months to finish it. Usually, it would take him much longer to do something, especially something human-sized. Jungkook was surprised that he made a beautiful sculpture.

He ran his fingers gingerly over the sculpture's face, landing on its plump lips. Jungkook blushed. He licked his lips and swallowed, feeling overwhelmed. The sculpture was so lifelike. It felt wrong to ogle it so shamelessly.

"I don't know what to name you. Should I call you Doll Face? How I wish you were real, so that I could have a friend."

Like that would happen. Jungkook tried to be realistic. Life wasn't a fairy tale. It was bitter. People were allowed to be lonely. People were allowed to have sad endings.

Jungkook stood up and called Bam and said, "Let's go, Bam. Time to eat."
