The Miracle

Jungkook paced around his room in thought while the sculpture played with Bam. Having it around was Jungkook's new normal, but it was weird.

So this is how it feels to have someone around...

He smiled at how sweet the sculpture was with Bam. However, he picked at his face, tonguing the inside of his mouth as he zoned out.

It's weird to keep calling him 'Sculpture.' My dog has a name, shouldn't he? I should ask.

"I think I should give you a name, but I don't know what suits you."

Jungkook was standing in front of the sculpture who was busy playing with his dog and said, "Name? Do you want me to have one, Master?"

"Yeah, because calling you 'sculpture' sounds weird to me, and I don't want to call you that. It's nice if you have a name." Jungkook said.

"Call me as you wish, Creator. You made me." The sculpture nuzzled the dog's head. Jungkook thought harder until a beautiful name came out of his mind and said,

"Jimin."

The sculpture halted its movements. "Ji...min?" It pursed its plump lips. "Having a name... it is strange. Do I deserve the gift of a name?"

Jungkook smiled at him and said, "Of course. Do you want to know why I named you Jimin?"

Slowly, it nodded. "Yes, Master."

"It means, wisdom will reach higher than the sky, gentleness, purpose and ambition. It fits you." Jungkook said.

"Then I shall cherish you. Thank you for the gift, Creator." Jimin bowed his head.

"Oh, by the way, wait here, and I'll go get something from my drawer." Jungkook said.

Jimin nodded. "As you wish."

Jungkook grabbed his old iPod and he sat beside him. Jimin stared at the iPod Jungkook was holding. "Here, I will teach you how to use this, because I have school and work to do outside. You have to stay here with Bam, and don't go outside, okay?"

Cautiously, he sat closer. "Is that your... Is that like the thing you use to crank yourself up?" Jimin cocked his head to the side.

Jungkook looked at him with a surprised look and said, "How did you know about that?"

"Like, you have one of them that you talk to your family on. One time, you were on it in bed and you were cranking yourself up. Do humans recharge?"

Jungkook softly chuckled and said, "Oh, that? Yeah, humans can recharge when they feel tired. By the way, I'll talk to you later when I get home, so I will teach you how to use this now."

"Okay." Jimin sighed. "I wish you didn't have to leave us, Creator, but I will take good care of Bam."

Jungkook gently patted Jimin's head and said, "I'll be home at five pm." Jungkook opened the iPod, went straight to iMessage, and said, "This is where you can text, send photos or videos over the internet or mobile data networks. I already saved my number here. My contact name here is my name. Did you get it? Should I repeat it for you?"

Jimin blinked and his mouth formed a small 'o.' "I'm a fast learner. Is there anything else, Creator?"

"This one, I installed this application for you. Since you're a fast learner, you can create your account here. You can follow my account after you create one. It's kooberry." Jungkook said.

"Now, I really have to go. I can't be late. See you later!" He added.

"Will you 'miss' me like you say to Bam every time you leave?"
