( Scanlan x Gn!reader) Requested.
If there is one thing that Y/n hates more than spiders it the fact that people in their town are dying. A sickness is spreading and the medicine is too rich for most families. So Y/n has put their skills to good work. Being an exceptional thief they has decided to steal from the rich.
It's a thrilling feeling they get every time they slip into the Rich's homes, pocketing jewels and small figures. How they can slip their hands into the silk pockets of the rich without getting caught. Then they would give out their findings to those who needed the medicine.
They was approached one night by a woman in her mid thirties. With her was a child no older than six years old. The little girl hid behind her mother as she held a lantern. Y/n was sitting on a ledge eating a stolen apple when the woman begged for their help. The little girl's sister was getting sicker and sicker as the days passed. And Y/n couldn't say no.
The next day Y/n had scoped out a market, flooding with people. Of course, they don't want to take from struggling members of her town, so Y/n waits for unfamiliar faces. That was when they spotted a group, an odd group. Three half elves, two gnomes, a barbarian and a human. Being an elf themself, Y/n feels bad as they jump from the building and lands in a dark alley. Pulling off their hood, they step out into the light. Their bright blonde hair shinning and her pointed ears showing. Y/n bumps into the male half-elf, her hand slipping into the pocket where she watched him place a thing of coin.
"So sorry." Y/n says as they slip past, a smile on their face. They continue to walk through the crowd, not knowing that the male gnome was watching as they slipped away.

Scanlan watched as the elf slipped their hand right into Vax's pocket and walked away. Vax just watched, not realizing anything was taken from him. Scanlan decided that he would confront the elf himself and walked away from his friends. It wasn't hard to spot the bright hair of the elf, despite their long strides and ability to maneuver much quicker than the gnome.
Scanlan watched as the elf took a quick turn into an alley. So Scanlan goes to the edge of the building and peers around the corner. He's surprised to see the elf hand a woman the coin. The woman's eyes water as she embraces the blonde elf. Scanlan looked away as the woman released the elf from the hug and began walking out of the alley. He began to look at his nails, trying to not bring any attention from the woman as she walked away. Once the woman was gone the gnome looked back into the alley. Surprised, he doesn't see the blonde elf anywhere. Taking a few steps he's met with the back of a building and a pile of dirty clothes. No elf in sight.
"I know when I'm being watched." A voice said from behind him. Scanlan quickly turns around. The blonde elf is blocking the only way out of the alley. They're tall and thin, their ears much pointer than Vax and Vex. Their front pieces of their hair are braided that fall near their thin face. Scanlan has to admit that they are very pretty, elegant almost.
"Why did you give our coin away, thief?" Scanlan questioned the elf. He was waiting for the elf to attack instead of answer, his fists balled and watching the elf with careful eyes.
"Because this town is sick. And the medicine is ridiculously expensive. So I take from the rich and those who travel in." The elf responded with their arms crossed.
"Oh," Scanlan scratched the back of his head, suddenly feeling bad. He didn't expect the answer. The elf sighed and took out a purple coin purse.
