I woke up to a dark room and my stuffed dolphin in my arms. I assume Gem must have left at some point so I checked my phone.

Apparently I had slept all the way through the night, so I decided to go upstairs and change.

When I got to my room, I started digging through the clothes I brought and decided to wear a black plaid skirt, some black leggings, and a white sweater. I let my hair be down because I didn't know what else to do with it.

I left the room and went to the kitchen I had found the day before, however there was no one there. So I explored for what seemed like hours before I found mom and destiny's mom in a kitchen across the house that looked identical to the other one.

"Hello beautiful, how are you this morning?" Mom asked.

"Meh I'm fine...back kinda hurts from sleeping in the theater though"

"oh yes! Gem told us about that! You were so cute we just couldn't bare to move you."

"Oh and uh I realized this, this morning but I think I forgot to pack any pajamas."

Destiny's mom thought for a second before she disappeared and reappeared with a box labeled "Destiny old pajamas". I had to see what was inside so I went along with her games.

"I stored all of destiny's old clothes and I believe that these pajamas should fit you." Destiny's mom started "but they may be a bit...babyish..."

while she was right, I didn't mind, I grabbed a few sets out of the mix that I liked the first was a pair of pastel pants with all sorts of colors on it, and the shirt was dark blue with a pink and white unicorn inside a circle. The second was princess themed and had belle from beauty and the beast all over it and the third was probably the most childish, being a nightgown that said #PrincessSquad with a tiara.

I figured those three should be enough to get me through our time here. I set them down next to my plate that mom had gotten ready for me just as Gem and Destiny walked in.

As they passed me to sit down, they both hugged me and said good morning, which made me feel really happy.

As we were all eating the eggs and bacon that destiny's mom had made us destiny looked at Gem and I and said "Hey, I was wondering if you guys wanted to go swimming today? I could lend you some of my old swimsuits!"

I immediately shrieked out a very enthusiastic "yes!!!"

While Gem just thought for a moment and said "yea, sure, why not."

We all finished our food and went over to the indoor pool. I ended up wearing the the princess one piece, not only because it was the only one I fit into but also because I really liked the Cinderella design on it. Gem grabbed the pastel one piece and Destiny grabbed the plain teal one piece.

As we all headed to put our swimsuits on, destiny looked up and said "sorry I don't have any bikinis...I don't like the way guys act when I'm showing that much..." gem and I didn't really know what to say at first but after a few seconds I responded "It's okay. I don't know what I think about that yet either."

Then we parted ways to change into our swimsuits. At this point you could probably mistake me for a six or seven year old girl, but I was okay with that. Honestly, even though I couldn't be home right now, I felt like everything was perfect.

When I left my room I could hear talking from the bottom of the stairs, it was destiny's mom saying "Look I know you miss your dad, but it's been a few years since his accident, would you be ok with me looking into another relationship?" And then I heard Destiny...being the older sister Gem had mentioned yesterday...

"yea! Of course! Who are you thinking?" And then Gem snuck up behind me and said "Hey there little sis! That swimsuit looks cute on you!" To which I jumped from the surprise and thanked her.

Me and Gem went downstairs to find Destiny sitting in a chair, waiting for us. I just grabbed one arm from both of them and dragged them to the pool.

As we stood there, looking at the pool, I thought before asking "Destiny, was this constructed just for you? When you were like really into swimming a few years ago?"

Destiny started to blush and responded with "uh yea...my mom wanted me to be happy so she had a special room built for all of my hobbies..."

"Woah...have you ever done a full lap?"

"Well...yea...but my best was only sixteen..."

"what do you mean only?!? That's like fifteen and a half more than I could do!" And it was at that point I looked at the water and remembered that I never learned how to swim.

Gem and Destiny must have sensed my nerves though cause they left for a moment and returned soon after with arm floaties that matched my swimsuit.

They were childish but I was ok with that cause they made me feel safer. We spent the next few hours in the pool but I sat on the wall for most of the time, because there was no shallow end.

Every fifteen minutes or so Gem and Destiny would come over and carry me around in the water, which kind of made me feel like a little kid. I was okay with that though because in a way, I enjoyed being treated like the youngest sibling.

I had spent so long being the older sibling that I forgot what it was like to not stress about someone else's life. After we finished up, Destiny and Gem helped me out of the pool and we found a bunch of towels to dry off with.

While we were drying off Destiny asked "can I tell you guys something?"

To which me and Gem looked at each other and said "of course! We are here for you no matter what!"

"Well...a few years ago...I told you guys that my mom quit her job to become a stay at home mom...and that our income was coming from my dad...who stayed on business trips...but that wasn't entirely true...my dad was in an accident that took his life...so my mom hired someone to do all her tasks for her and came home to stay with me...we healed together...but it was weighing down on me that you guys didn't know the truth."

Me and Gem felt bad that it was affecting Destiny this much so in an attempt to cheer her up, I said "it's ok, we knew anyways...you can't just go through a goth phase for no reason. So that and your mom coming home for the first time in years, we knew was no coincidence."

She just hugged us and left the pool in tears. We felt bad but knew there wasn't really much we could do except give her time.

I checked my phone and saw that it was already pretty late at night so I told Gem I was gonna head to bed. As I walked to my room though, I saw a ton of texts from old friends that were insulting me and yelling at me. I decided to just block all the numbers that had texted me mean things and respond to the nice ones with thanks.

Once I got to my room I put on the unicorn pajamas I picked out and went to bed with my stuffed dolphin.
