Confession #1

It has been how many weeks of busy schedules when finally we both have the week off. Just to ourselves. Away from any fan meetings, dance practice or TV appearances.

"Yong. Lets do a movie marathon tonight."

"What movie?"

"Harry Potter."

"Again really?"

I know you love Harry Potter and you will never refused a rerun. Swinging your hand from side to side I try to persuade you further.

"What. It's good."

"Alright then we will watch 1-4 tonight and the next one we will just continue tomorrow. Have some popcorns while we are at it."

"Sure sure. I'll see you later."

I released my hold on your fingers to go on my ways.

"Wait. You're not coming home with me right now?"

"I need to pack some clothes first."

"Just wear mine."

"Mhmm....Or you're just looking for a driver right now since Manager unnie has gone back home."

"Yahh! It's not like that. Lets just go home together."

"Alright Ddun."

I'm just teasing you. Even if I'm going back to my place I would drop you to yours first. No matter how late it is.

We go back home together in my car that night. I drop a small text to Seulgi saying that I'll be staying at your place for the whole weekend.

The ride back home was silent. A comfortable silent. You hum a few songs from the radio for a while before settling back in silent looking out of the window.

People always said your skin look better being sunkissed but tonight. Your skin glows under the moon light. Casting shadows along your sharp feature making you more breathtaking than you were before.

Maybe I stared at you a bit too long during the red lights causing you to noticed.

"Wae...What are you staring at?"

Refocusing my eyes on the road since the light have turned green. I just smile softly. Leaving the question unanswered.

"Wae Byulyiii....?"

"Nothing....You're pretty unnie."

"Ic...."

You laugh out loud with the dolphin laugh which I found so endearing and slap my shoulder jokingly. We continue our drive home in random jokes after that.

You excitedly keyed in your house code when we arrived and spring into the kitchen to heat up some popcorns.

"Yonghee is not home unnie?"

"Nope...She has gone out tonight."

"I see."

"Help me set up the movie Byulyi."

"Yes maam."

I give a salute jokingly and walk a small distance to the living room to setup the movie.

We were just sitting casually on the sofa watching our first Harry Potter movie. Nothing was different that night but I guess I couldn't hold the feelings that I have kept for so long inside.

I couldn't focused my eyes on the movie at all.

All I could focused on was you.

How your face lights up seeing the magic in front of your eyes.

How your dimples deepened ever time you smile or laugh.

How your eyes sparkle. Like there is literally stars in your eyes. Shining brightly.

How your eyebrows furrow worriedly when things get too serious in the movie.

I fell in love. Again.

"I love you Yong."

Suddenly, I blurt out the secrets I have been holding on for so long. I couldn't stop myself anymore and maybe I don't want to hide it anymore.

You turn and look at me. Eyebrows raised and smile confusing at me.

"Like a sister..."

I guess it did hurt hearing you say that. Maybe it was one sided after all. Determine to make you understand. I reply more firmly. Looking straight into your eyes.

"No. Like a lover. I wanted you to be mine. Only mine and I'm so sorry for blurting everything out like this. I didn't mean to make our date night weird so suddenly."

Your eyes widen. Shocked.

"I...I don't know what to say."

"It's ok Yong. I just want to let it all out. I'll go home now."

"But the movie..."

You try to grasp my arms preventing me from moving further but I couldn't stand your rejection. Not tonight.

Tomorrow maybe but not tonight.

"I know you need time. Rest well ok. Night Yong."

I left you that night with a heavy footstep. I don't know if tomorrow will be a good or bad day for me. For us. I couldn't sleep a blink.

A/N:
I decided to make an extended version of this confession as you read in POV. Maybe they will be other extended version...👀..

And the covid turns negative so what am I sick of basicly. 😐

P.s: not me reading POV again for how many times i couldnt count already. There will be another songfic so maybe i will post it here or in another books but it might be a little bit sad.
