Umbrella

"I'm going out to the grocer, you girls want anything?"

I asked the 'lovebirds' who were snuggling on the couch.

"Can I come?"

"Sure Byul. Let's go..."

"Wait! I'm coming too."

Yongsun quickly said while getting up from the couch. She took her sweaters and walked straight to the front door.

I couldn't help but laugh at my sister's attitude.

"What are you being restless for? I'm not stealing Byulyi from you."

"Shut up!"

Yongsun pulls Moonbyul out of the house leaving me behind.

I shook my head. When will my sister just accept she feels something for that girl. God, it's giving me a major headache.

Remembering the weather forecast from last night, I took two umbrellas and walked out of the house following the so called bestfriend.

Being the oldest between those two, I feel like I'm a single mom with two kids.

I went through my grocery list and pushed the shopping cart slowly while electing what to buy.

My sister and Byulyi just walk around aimlessly along the aisle, messing around and keep putting junk foods in the cart.

I let out a long sigh.

"I'm using your card by the way Moonbyul ssi."

"Alrighty!"

Byul nods and runs towards Yongsun. Of course to tease my sister senseless.

At least my sister in law is loaded.

"Yonggg! Looks at this thing.  It is so weird!"

Moonbyul point at a row of geoducks. Fresh, breathing and to my horror, unchopped.

"That thing shouldn't be displayed alive in the public."

I said to the two girls who were snickering and pointing at the thing.

"Unnie...You're straight so it's normal for you..Hahahhahaha."

"Why you little shii..."

I didn't get to chase the annoying hamster since she has gone far and people keep on looking at us. I really don't want to be the center of attention now. Not now and ever.

"Yongsun. Just put a leash on your girlfriend."

"What! She is not my girlfriend unnie."

"Potato..Potato. Now go wait at the counter. I'm just getting some cheese and I'll be there in 5 minutes."

I pushed my sister away to get her girl and just to have a peaceful shopping trip even for a while. Why did I allow them to come with me. It's a nuisance.

Finishing all of my grocery list and using Byul's card as promised, the three of us went out of the exit.

It was pouring rain outside.

I had forgotten to bring an extra umbrella since Moonbyul is here with us. Why did I only bring two umbrellas again.

"Let's wait since we don't have anough umbrella. It's pouring heavily."

I could feel Moonbyul being restless while we waited for the rain to stop.

"Stop tapping your shoes. The rain water is splashing on me."
